Punishment for not unhauling enough...pick 24 of the books that have been on your shelves the longest, read the first chapter...decide based on that whether to unhaul or not.
For a punishment get patrons or friends to curate a “punishment tbr”. Aka books they think you’ll dislike. Doesn’t have to be a heavy tbr either, perhaps 2-4 books depending on length. I love these unhauls by the way, I can feel the stress and tension along with you! Haha.

When it generated 14 I literally said out loud “do it again” lol. You would have had to unhauled 5-6 books a minute to get to 72 books and you got over half I think you can let this one slide
For ARCs you could see if any children's hospital wards, schools (for libraries), or women's homes will accept books? To avoid destroying.
My suggestions are to do a 24 day book buying bank or donate $72 to a bookish cause.

For 72 you should've started with 20 minutes minimum, 14 was just not doable. For your punishment you have to finish Series of Unfortunate Events.

The whole time I was thinking of the Frostheart Shrine where you have at least 5 of each book in the series, but no. That's untouchable. I'm proud of you for unhauling some series though, congrats!

Regarding getting rid of arcs I have had great luck finding little free libraries with room for them or donating them to Juvenile detention centers.

I think an interesting punishment would be that next month, your entire TBR has to be books from that pile that you have to give a second chance before you actually go get rid of them.

As for punishment tho… maybe you could do a play your tbr right with all books from the don’t want to read bag/raffle bag (exceptions of course for any books you need to read for any videos or lives) I think that would be a super fun video to watch. Also I believe you’ve expressed before that the books in the bag are books you actually do want to read they are just a little lest interesting and/or intimidating. I feel like this might've been better to do with a list (Goodreads or something?) Since you couldn't physically find all the books but knew there were some you wanted to get rid of. Maybe that would help to get so many done really fast? Idk. This task was real difficult so I almost don't think it's fair for you to punish yourself

Punishment idea: Random number generate what bookshelf, then on that bookshelf read as many as you can in an random generated timeframe. ( Like 48 hours or something) Would love a vlog like that :D

I thought at first you were simply unhauling the Scythe series. Then I looked up the Fairy Loot editions. Wow they are so gorgeous and I wish I had known about them! Can't wait for the fourth book.

I think you need to play higher or lower unhaul edition. So you pick a book you do want to unhaul and a book you don't want to and then play higher or lower and risk loosing the book you didn't want to unhaul. You only have to play 12 rounds to make up for the 24 you didn't manage to unhaul so the risk is higher but the amount you have to unhaul is lower.

easy punishment. no buying books and anything you want to read you check out from a public library. i think booktube needs to say the graces of public libraries more and i think itd be a cool idea to show that libraries are cool if you made a vid about it

Hmm...for your punishment you should read all the books that you get for your birthday in the month of June. If any of the books belong to a series and you haven't started that series, well, you have to begin that series to be able to read that book. 😁💕💕💕💕
