So screw that. What I won was is 24a, I've had a couple of samples before that. Seems totally as you described as Buffalo Trace DNA for sure. It either goes cherry coke or grape soda. With the vanilla in this one it's rich cherry coke for me. At MSRP for sure, totally worth it. What I have to pay is a hard pass.
I never get the grape soda notes, but I see a lot of people do. $199 is nuts. Like I said, $80-90 is about my limit. Thankfully that’s what it seems to be across the board here unless you hit a shop trying to screw you.
Nice review. I have Stagg batches 15 through 24B. The 24A is my least favorite Stagg. IMO it is off profile for Stagg. I keep getting citrus instead of cherry. Probably my trash palate. 🥃

Still haven’t been able to get one around my area. But I’ll continue to look for it. It’s 60 here so I don’t have to worry about overpaying.

This one is an interesting bottle. As many have said, it is off profile. I just picked up 24B so I am curious to see how it compares.

I have never had a bad Stagg they are just various degrees of good to great. I only see them for $200 around me
