There's a timeline where Tora beat Lui$ and she somehow gets on the Top 8 and it would been the first time in years Ike has gotten a Top 8 in a Major (unless she already did in Japan cuz their tournaments are crazy) and it would've been monumental Or she would've gotten stopped before top 8 and it would've looked the same as other similar tournaments and Sparg0 still would've won but you know, the possibilities!
I'd heard of Tora before this tournament (Since I usually try to watch Yoshidora when he competes at Japanese tournaments) but after her performance at this tournament, I think I've now become a fan of Tora. She had a pretty impressive losers bracket run here; after getting sent to the losers bracket in round 1 pools and clawing her way all the way up to 17th place. She also put up a damn good fight against the person who ultimately took 3rd place at this tournament, in a really bad matchup for Ike no less. Very impressive showing by Tora.
How is it Lui$ almost getting MU checked? He went up 2-0. This comment would make more sense if Tora was the one that went up 2-0 and Lui$ adapted, but in this case Tora was the one who was doing the adapting.
Ike is not that bad of a character, he may have some shit matchups but most ike players are just bad and lazy and they fail because they expect to win by pressing the nair button, not because the character isn't viable
What neutral tool does Ike have besides nair though? His OOS isn't good, and he's slow. His dash attack, ftilt, and Aether are great at killing, but they're slow and very unsafe. His downtilt and up air are actually great, but they're still outclassed by other characters' tools. Unlike his nair, which is one of the best nairs in all of smash bros. Like, if he wasn't allowed to use nair, I think he'd be a bottom 5 character.

@raphte3258 ガードした時のヒットストップがあるので、ガーキャンは割と反応しやすいと思いますよ。体感8Fはめちゃくちゃ余裕ある部類だと思います。自分で調べればいいものを、、、すみません、ありがとうございます。
@@masahirosato78 これ多分持ちキャラ次第だと思うんですがアイクってガードするメリット低めなんですよね、ガーキャンが優秀じゃないんでガードした後って確実に掴める時以外はジャンプか回避か安定みたいな
そういう意識の置き方してると咄嗟に上B入力はむずいんじゃないかなと、相手パルテナなんで警戒しないといけない択が多いのもありそうですが

発生フレーム負けてるから先に動かれたり技先端で置かれたりしたら基本反撃ないしそもそもアイクがガードからの確反狙えるキャラじゃない
