@@Harriono I feel like, up until you have the bread and eggs in the pan it's great, the other stuff is just going to overwhelm those basic flavours. Maybe, MAYBE, some cheddar mixed into the bread and milk and instead of cooking it like a tortilla, toss it like chunks of French Toast. I have some sliced bread heels, a belly full of wine and a curious nature, so I might investigate this tonight. (EDIT: actually, when I make French Toast (or egg bread as we always called it) I usually make a loaf in my bread maker, trim off the crusts all over, cut it into big 40mm thick squares to soak in the egg, then fry off and finish in the oven. The crusts go in the freezer for that breadcrumb recipe I never get round to, but they'd actually be perfect for this - and I have so many of them.)
