Thank you brother. I have a friend from Zimbabwe I work with in Chicago. He love that he can speak his native language with some even if it's just a greeting and a few words. He said it made him feel at Home. Plus he has never heard a Latino speak Shona. Keep posting brother.

To me it is very useful that you repeat the words because I need to hear the correct intonation and pronunciation as often as possible to be able to speak them myself. I've just been watching this video for the fifth time. One success of the lessons has been that I've recognized a word in a Shona song: Manheru.

Thank you so much for your awesome videos. Very easy to understand and follow. I had one question. You said 'mamuka' was a phrase for 'have you woken up well'. However during the text bits at the end 'mamuka' is said to mean 'how are you this morning'. Can you still use mamuka for somebody that does shift work? If they do not wake up till the afternoon can you greet them with 'misikati, mamuka here?'
