@@try1269 no they really aren't. The bikes are absolutely in the wrong in almost all scenarios where they are travelling at excessive speed. Even if someone sees the bike there's no way you reasonably expect someone to realise you are travelling that much faster than you should be. They could well be looking at a situation that when they begin an overtake or start pulling out where they can quite rightly assume they have time to complete the maneuver only for the bike to close the distance way faster than it should be able to. The law will always come down 100% in the favour of the car due to the bikes excessive speed. Especially in the first clip like that here where the bike is travelling at nearly double the speed limit on a rainy day. To be quite frank its ridiculous behaviour and he deserves to have his licence taken away before he kills himself or someone else. If you want to drive or ride anything at plus 100mph take it to a track day.

Everywhere else it's usually illegal to drive them, especially in Europe. Police are raiding such gatherings, cause they are destroying nature and are usually done using not properly registered bikes. And look and behold, the kids driving around in forest where people just walk and cycle call man calling them out for it 'douche'. Who the fuck is douche in this situation? Kids thinking they are in right? Or man saying 'it's not ok, you shouldn't do it'?!

dropping a rev bomb and speeding off after someone mildly pulls infront of you is in my top 10 most embarrassing things to do on motorcycle
We'll actually there's a reason some riders choose to do it. Some drivers are less alert to an average horn from a motorcycle so the revving of an engine can prove to be a more slightly efficient way to capture the attention of a nearby driver. Speeding off however I cannot explain.
I feel like these should be called "Bikers getting triggered" now.

I think a lot of motorcyclists started watching these videos and have since adopted a bad attitude to everyone else on the road
Yeah it’s probably true, although people do wrong bikers a lot and yeah it can be funny when they react they sometimes act more entitled like when they smash mirrors and stuff
NightHaven44 not even just smashing mirrors. Slowing down along side them (often times well below posted speed limits), yelling, revving, cutting them off, chasing them at excess speeds to catch up, trying to corner them at stops, etc. especially when half the time the rider was speeding and caused the incident.

yup I love that. Imma ride so fast that even if the cars see me clearly there's no way they are going to realise they cant complete the overtake before I arrive and then get mad at them for not realising I'm riding at nearly double the fucking speed limit.
Watching first what can happen when you ride a motorcycle helps you a lot, it teaches you how can you get thru it safely.
Definitely to improve hazard perception, pause the video when you think you know what's happening and write it down. You can mark yourself, it's very useful

He was quite reasonable, just said that this is not a road you drive these on. The only arguments the kids had was "we don't have a lock so we don't want to leave them at the parking area" - well, go and buy a lock then? It is people who drive on roads not made for motor vehicles in populated areas who ruins the reputation for others.

1. That road is only made for running and bicycles of various kinds, i.e. it is not permitted to drive motor vehicles there. Not mopeds, not enduros, not motorcycles, not monster trucks. Not permitted = not legal. Comprende? The guys tell them to park them at the parking lot and walk the last bit to the lake. In what way are you a "douche" for doing what is pretty reasonable to people doing something towards another thing that is less reasonable? Do you like chaos and people doing as they want regardless of legal and social rules?
2. The guy on the bicycle is not an old guy, rather middle aged.
3. That middle aged guy is telling the kids that "we don't drive those here". He does not use any swear words, he does not threat them with violence or by saying that he will take or destroy their bikes. He just tries to uphold some kind of order (yeah I know, some people think that is "boring" etc and bla bla bla).
4. Both the guy and the kids probably gets a little pissed, but no one is swearing or acting hostile.
5. Yeah I agree, saying "If I hear them again, I'll be coming back" is a very serious threat and the guy should be put in prison, have his career ended and be called a fucking old retard for telling the kids to ride on roads made for motor vehicles.
6. I don't have any problem with people riding motor vehicles in nature if it is permitted. And I ride myself. If you ride where it is not permitted, why the fuck do you then do it in a populated area? And then argue against someone who stops you and asks/tells you to stop doing that?
7. Most of the conversation is subtitled, but not every part. It does not add that much to the conversation however... the kids jokingly invites the guy to go swimming with them, but he declines and some other things.
8. The guy are right, the kids are wrong and you comment are an idiotic one.

I ride my bike everywhere. Every time I come across people like in the last clip I don’t even acknowledge them. I just continue on my way. Only stop to talk if they touch you then it’s fair game anything else just ignore them....

Just got yelled at by a trucker for waiting for the traffic to pass at an intersection. And I simply waved him to move on.
Most of the times being calm and collected goes miles.
The drivers of cars must realise bikers are in more of a danger than you and because of you, give them a wide berth.

Agree, but bikers themself know they are more in danger aswell and yet they search for trouble. 50% of these video could have been avoided by looking ahead in traffic and thinking: maybe that car doesnt see me, ill slow down a little. But in reality they see the car pull up drive at it at full speed till they almost rear end it and than they rev and flip them off
90% of bikers around here are entitled morons. Just last week I was coming to a slowing stop approaching a one side stop sign and traffic coming. And biker behind me got mad or somthing. Flipped me the bird as he passed within millimeters from my door, blew past the stop sign and got mad at the on coming car for tailgating him. And funny thing is he lived like 5 houses down the road and made the mistake of going there while we followed him. And both gave him one hell of a what for. And I had kids in my car. If he hit me.... o man he'd be dead. Even if he didnt get hurt from it. I'd beat him to a pulp. And everytime I pass his house now if he sees me he glares at me.
And they speed. I was on the highway and 3 of them doing atleast 90+ in a 55 cutting through traffic. Someone swerved lanes and almost knocked one off. And the 3 of them slowed right down infront of the guy and started screaming at them hitting the hood flipping them off. Then took off again. And that's every. Single. Biker. Here. This is New York btw. Country side not even anywhere near a city. I'm 3 hrs away from nyc and syaracuse the 2 biggest cities near me. And still see this.
So when I pass those yard signs that are pro biker "look twice save a life"

In the second one the car driver had their blinker on for a good bit before changing lanes
just because the blinker is on doesn't give them the right of way. plus the biker was in the turn lane way before they were. AND they were trying to get into the lane after it turned into a solid white.
The car took his sweet time getting in the right line. Also he switched lane when the white line was full ( no clue how to say it in English but i hope you get what i mean) so the car driver at that point was not allowed to switch lane

Police was called later on. And why shouldn't he protect her? If he's not part of the police,that doesn't mean he can't protect that woman. Unfortunately, these cases are not rare in Romania,and also the police most of the time won't even care that much.

Mtb er dude was right. Dirt bikes in that area are not allowed and dangerous. Also they are destroying mtb trails where local ppl spend lots of time to build features or just keep it maintain.
