I just got mine on Saturday had time to play around with it and it is great, really like the camouflage paint on it. You do really great reviews on flashlights.
Really good review, it made me decide to buy this flashlight! I wanted an angle head and this seems to have everything (and importantly it comes with a battery!)
The Nicron B70plus have the best performece that i see, 4 hrs on 950 lumens is really impressive... and i would like to see a comparison with other more powerful ones like the TH30 from thrunite, and the new nitecore H35
Great review. I had looked at this light for hunting/tracking game as well as walking into and out of the woods at night. I would, however, like to see a version that is strictly on...and off! When did it become a standard item to have emergency strobes built into just about every flashlight on the market. The majority of people buying the majority of these lights (I'm making an assumption) are not stranded in the wilderness that they would need strobe and multiple colors. I have two Coleman, 300 & 350-lumen lights that are strictly one and off and they do everything I need.
Great review like always Charles. I got me the B70. There are just some things that I don´t like about this flashlight. It has no lockout mode. If you want to lock it out I guess you have to unscrew the battery cap a little. The glas is made out of some kind of plastic but I think at this pricepoint it´s ok. What would be usefull too, an option to use color light without having it switching to white light. What you forgot to show how it it will be charged. The indication for this is worth talking about.
I did not forget as to the manufacturer most people will know how to plug in a cable into the light as they were more keen on features of the light. As for your complaints I would agree if it were not a budget light. You still get one heck of a light for the money and these including other Nicron lights are now very popular due to my reviews of them. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec Thank you for your reply. This are just my thoughts. I agree with you it is a nice light for the money. I got the Nicron B 70 and the B 74 after i watched your videos. Maybe you do some kind of comarison videos in the future. I think you make some great videos. Keep the good work up.
I don't know if your taking recommendations but I'm interested in the panther vision powercap. It's a baseball hat with leds built in. I know it's not super bright, but I have an EDC light for that. It comes in a beanie too.
I will buy this product tommorow in an online shop sale and I have a large discount voucher I think it will worth the buy..one question is does it heats up when you make the light max in a long period of time?
According to Amazon user reviews, then model N7 users have had situations when flashlight have had some electronic problems. Also battery and magnet are very side by side. But, this model(N70) has a special battery with it. N7 will use AA battery, and most users buy this from shop. Magnet may affect battery life somehow... not sure for that. Also some users who used N7 say that this is not 600 lumens, because some of them have other factory flashlights and N7 it is the same like 300 lumens. N7 got more than 200 reviews and 4,6 score of 5 points in Amazon. Yes, I understand that there may be some products, that can come with defect. N70 looks great, reliable, strong, has good functions. I am calculating to buy it. But... how long it will last before it goes crazy or stop working...?
Mine is still working great! Also no one can tell you the future including any Amazon review. Magent having any baring on a flashlight battery is ridiculous. Thanks for watching!
I have my nicron n7. It's a damn good light. I have had it for almost half a year. It's tiny bright and $13. I run the rechargeable 14500s. They run great. Battery life is shorter due to my crappy batteries. The biggest complaint on the n7 is the damn button is huge. I have more than once accidentally turned it on in a pocket. I use it as a mechanic and it's been dropped waist high from concrete numerous times. I have backed into it with my head and knocked it off the botomn of a car a few times too. I'm 6 foot and so the like had to be at least 6.5 feet up when it fell. All in all an amazing small compact cheap light. It's great for working on cars. It has a wide beam that gets most of the area in front of me. The 90 head and magnet are a must for me.
My Nitron N7 discharged the battery when switched off. The only help I got from customer service was advice to unscrew the cap when not in use. I was just outside the warranty period and they offered no further assistance. Most had good luck with the N7, but too many didn't.
Hello Charles. Thanks for the review. Tell me please, is it possible to carefully disassemble the head of the flashlight to replace the main diode with a warmer diode?
I just received my b70 and charge it immediately before using, sadly it doesn't fit with my nitecore i2 fast charger because the nicron batt is a bubble head so I charge it within the micro usb port, at first it blinks two counts red light then it blinks at 4 counts, does this means that the battery level is now at 4?
I found that you can access the strobe from off by triple clicking the power button quickly. Pretty nice that you can do that from off if you need to use it to blind an attacker fast. 😁 😁
I see ellie of the new game "the last od us" using this flashlights and i spend the holl day study and seeing videos.. the 20% code is not working any more :/

Hi Charles, great video! what's the difference between your b70 and the b70 with 1200 lumens? thanks a lot. regards from Italy
The version in this video only is 1000 lumens. So the newer model has more light output. Thanks for watching!

Yes. Thanks for watching!

Yes you can. Thanks for watching!
Very nice beam.

B70. Thanks for watching!
