Make sure your contractor has done a structural design and it has to be mentioned that the building is designed for G+1. Without structural design it will be difficult

If you are planning to use rainwater as drinking water you will have to set up a RO system for it. Without tiles or waterproofing the roof will leak so it cannot be avoided

But it is fully vitrified tile. Thickness is 8mm and 10mm both available. For terrace, should we go with Ceramic or Vitrified ? Also, I guess more the thickness is better right ?

Sir, Vanakkam, I have leakage on terrce, So i would like to apply water proof paste along with cement mortor as per advise one of local engineer. Then i will fix the ROCOTILES 20mm tick cool tiles with weight of 3kg size of 1 ft x 1 ft, i have to apply 2400 Sq Feet. So around 7.2 Tonne weight it is occupying without include of cement mortor etc. So my question is, In the future, Whether my Terrace will with stand this much weight or it will bend the RCC? Shall i go for 10mm thickness tiles availbale in the market ? Please suggest.

You should also include waterproofing over the terrace floor before tile laying.
Waterproofing should be done as part of the construction sir, not part of tiles or weathering

Damp proof will prevent water leakage sir, for temperature reduction cooling tiles is better.
