How to block YouTube at the router (URL Filtering)

- In this video I show you how to apply a blanket ban of RUclips to any device connecting to your Router via Ethernet or WiFi.
I'm using a TP Link Omada Router but the same principles apply to any Router with URL filtering services.

I don't know that model. Do you mean the URL filtering doesn't work at all or doesn't work for RUclips?
That’s great other tp links sucks they are base on mac which can be bypassed kids. Can you put the link to the router?

This will only work on decent routers. Maybe look at Unifi, TP-Link Omada or Draytek.

I've got similar problem. After blocking youtube , i cant access Google drive or photos.

You might need to give it sometime or reboot the router. If the settings have been applied correctly it will work.
