Completely agreed. Also, it struck me as unusual that the caps on lipstick are manually applied after all the automation that preceded it. You just never know what went into making the products that we use.
Lmao same thought. My skin is so pale my natural lip color looks like some kind of natural shade of lipstick but it's not. I can't pull of any lip color. Reds are the worst. Anything dark or too pale is a no go. I'm fine with just chapstick to keep em healthy.

You also have to remember that a lot of these HIM videos are recorded at much smaller manufacturers rather than big conglomerates where most things are automated.

I have red lipstick just like Taylor Swift, I usually apply lip balm first before applying lipstick or lip gloss because my lips will be dry. I pick out colors that compliment my skin tone since I have fair skin

Inaccurate about crushed beetles. Cochineal is still used in the modern day for red pigment and it still used in lipstick, eyeshadow, and blush.
