Since BeamNG has received so many off-roaders in recent times, it makes me think that the next updates may be focused on just one type of car, like city cars, muscle cars, utility cars, vintage cars, luxury cars, station wagons, and stuff like that.
Or maybe I'm dreaming too much.

Yo basically every car variant added in the game has multiple race types pre configured, and beamng supplies at least 3 large race tracks, mutliple dirt tracks, lap timers. What else you need for racing Dx

Another thing about Stock Car Racing in this game, they already have vehicles for it, they can easily just make a variant of the Burnside Special, Bluebuck, Barstow, Moonhawk, LeGran, Wendover, and the Bastion given these are the cars they used in Nascar and they all represent a different era of Stock Car racing
Some cars I want in game, from oldest to newest. We need at least two pre war cars, a common peasant car that can be a coupe, sedan, truck, and Hot Rod. And a luxury v16 sports car
Now for post WW2, a proper 1950s Americana car, the Burnside Special is 1950s, but that is early to mid, before the fins got crazy, we need a proper 1955-58 Americana tailfin car, comes in 2 door sedan, 4 door sedan, 2 door wagon, and 4 door wagon, also can be a race car, derby car, and hot rod.
Honestly, I would love to see more BeamNG "in-universe" versions of iconic TV / Movie vehicles!
Examples: Bullitt, Dukes Of Hazzard, Back To The Future, Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters, Christine, "The Car" 1977, Twister, etc...

While more extra vehicles are nice, I think the devs should focus more to better the physics.
Better tire physics would be the priority. Inflated, deflated, soft, hard, torn, tire wear, tire temperature, or anything that will make the tire physics better.
Secondly, better aero physics would be nice too. Something like to be able to drafting from behind another vehicle.
Last one is not that much important, but paint damage would be good to have too.
I hope one day I'll be able to see BeamNG because the ultimate car sim.
Also keeping the same level of performance! Improving the simulations while trying to keep the same level of performance is crucial.. No KSP2 syndrome of “more physics simulated unnecessarily while tanking performance” BS. I built a new computer with a 3060 and I don’t want to have to buy a 5070ti super ++ XLR in 4 years so I can run it at 60 FPS with one car.
These are the same things I've talked about when mentioning Beam, the game is almost a 100% if they did what you've just said it'd be the best driving game ever made. Me personally, I wanna see a large highway system kinda like the autobahn mod but with off ramps and small towns and wearhouse/industrial. I find all my favourite maps are mods with the exception of Italy and West coast USA, we need some room to actually drive and not just on b rated map mods

There are mods for tire wear and drafting. But they need to include them in the actual game.

There's some things I want that seemingly never get moded.
More automotive grade trailers. I want gooseneck trailers for my damn pickup. I also want longer trailers (triple axle and such). We have an offroad UTV, give me a damn trailer to haul it or give me an upfit for my pickup to mount it.
Boat. I want a semi functional boat with automotive boat trailer. Imagine the shenanigans. Also it'd require an overhaul on the water but ah, minor details.
Biggest thing I want is a cargo securement system. (Straps or chains tool). We can tie nodes together yeah, but the system is really limited and kinda buggy. I want a tool that let's me tie numerous nodes together, and let me control the tension (force being applied to individual tie downs or all at the same time is they were lets say, made into a group). I really just wanna haul cars around with other cars on trailers and such.
Or create my own loads with the new t series flatbed. Or make goofy setups with the cars.
Also more upfits for the pickup like a flatbed, or a setup like american "hotshot" drivers have for small otr truck driving work.
And yeah a car hauling trailer and logging trailer would be lovely.
Heavy equipment would rock too. Excavator, forklift, and definitely big roller (with compacting like, it has to).

I would love to see something along the lines of the original VW Beetle, less so for the Beetle itself and more so for the hundreds of "supercar we have at home" kit cars that use the chassis as a base. Also totally agree on the Prius being included provided that it brings that one-off V10 powered race car concept they had a few years ago. On the topic of NASCAR vehicles it would be cool to see lower class oval racers too, especially dirt oval, but it really would require a full revamp of the tire physics to make those types of races really work. Also, something with tracks like a tank would be hilarious.
Yeah, beetle for sure. The picolina is “close” but.. Nowhere near what I was hoping for in terms of customization.
I’d like to see some more vintage style cars (primarily some from the late 50’s to 70’s), and perhaps a remaster of the existing ones. Additionally, I’d like to see a bulldozer.

I want to see some really vintage stuff. I'm talking prewar, interwar, 10s-30s stuff. There were some WILD machines back then, imagine bringing an Auto Union to 200 mph in BeamNG for example
I would also love to see an official Euro-spec semi truck from the devs at some point! There is a decent mod of the MAN TGX but of course it is not dev quality and it is a "real" brand not consistent with ingame lore. I would also love to see them add a modern aerodynamic American semi truck. Maybe something built after 2010, especially since IRL California subjects diesel vehicles in particular, to crazy stringent emissions testing which could make the West Coast map a little more immersive.
I'd personally love to see a few group B cars, or older rally in general, like lanica, audi, renault, etc.
We need an older midsize truck as well as a newer one, and maybe a new full size truck.
Something else they'll need to think about at some point if they introduce so many more vehicles, is maybe updating the UI. It's functional but for some after you add so many vehicles, I can see it getting kind of overwhelming and scattered.
I agree the most with the Multipla and the golf cart. Weirdly also the game currently is very US centric despite the devs being german. I feel lile a couple updates of EU cars would be nice.
A 1990s-2000s american pony/muscle car (camaro, mustang, monte carlo, etc.) would be pretty banger, as thats an area the current lineup doesn't fill currently
1. Trains. Id love to see the railway tracks on west coast be updated and be able to spawn trains directly on them.
2. Ambulance configs and fire engines
3. A modern van (2018 or newer, big or small like vw caddy or mercedes sprinter)
As for cars those are it for me, but for features,
1. Worn out or run down cars (either through configs or general wear)
2. Damaged part behaviour (this one kinda goes hand in hand with run down cars) like squeaky fan belts, dry engines running rough, noisy suspension, misfires, rattles, etc
3. More interactive parts. Windows that roll down, windscreen wipers, screen washers, interactive infotainment screens
4. Weather. Rain, which wets your car, makes roads shiny and slippery and makes dirt tracks muddy and boggy, Snow, which can build up on the ground, and makes tracks when you drive through it, makes starting your car significantly harder, and will build up on your car if left idle for long enough, and will fall off or melt when you drive away.
4. More realistic tyres. Tyre thermals, tyre wear, more realistic blowouts that show holes, will shoot out white beams of air when they blow out, and will disturb, knock or completely flip your car when that happens
As to the European semi, the devs seem to already be at work on that. In the game files, the T-series is now mentioned as us semi. Maybe I'm just crazy, but that seems like some pretty obvious foreshadowing for a Euro-style semi

The Procyon Centauri is the best SUV model I've ever seen. The textures and the quality are amazing! Plus, you can open the doors! That is a great model and I heavily recommend it.

I think that beamng should just include some high quality made mods in the vanilla game, giving credit to the creator, and focus more on the important stuff like scratches, multiplayer, vulkan, vr, weather etc.
I just got overwhelmed by the amount information and forgot about half of the cars Muye talked about.

I want to see Moonhawk & Barstow remake. Seriously, Moonhawk really deserves it- this car was in BeamNG from Beta, and it is still one of my favourite cars of the game (with T and D series :)

A niche in sim games that is mostly forgotten and only accessible via scarse mods with questionable quality is pre-war cars, I'm talking the 1920s monster aero engined cars, the Bugatti Type 35, Mercedes SSK, 1930s/40s Grand Prix racers with the early Alfas, Auto Unions, Mercedes, etc... They could also be very versatile mod-wise, if you have something like a Bentley 4½L you can have a race version, a touring version, roadster version, i4, i8, V16, Aero-Engine, luxury, two seater, 4 seater, limo, town sedan, ute, hot rod, offroad rat rod, etc...
Thats by far what I would most like to see in BeamNG

Here's a list of vehicles I'd like to see added, pretty much just modern vehicles, in no perticular order:
1. Of course, an European semitruck and trailers. Something based off the Mercedes Actros or the Man TSG, with 2 axle, 3 axle and even 4 axle configs. I also want to see different upfits like the T-series, and possibly a crazy offroad expedition camper truck with 8x8. And, of course, an all-electric config could also be possible.
2. A modern full-size luxury/offroad SUV, something like the Land Rover Defender or the Land Cruiser 300. Similar to the Procyon Centauri mod.
3. A modern European bus, with 3 axle configs and possible double decks.
4. A modern American full-size SUV, like the Chevy Suburban or Cadillac Escalade.
5. This might be a hot take, but I want to see a purpose-built electric car. It could be a full-size sedan with configs with over 1000 horsepower, like the Tesla Plaid and the Lucid Air Sapphire. I think a config with a V8 swap would also be amazing to see.
6. A modern pickup truck. PLEASE DEVS! PLEASEEE!!!!!
1:50 as NASCAR racing fan myself, i can confirm that watching cars go in circles is entertaining. (But fr they dont just go in circles, they race on road courses too ya know. Ex. Curcuit of the americas or COTA, Sonoma raceway, watkins glen international, charlotte motor speedway road course, not inculding the chicago street race that took place this year.)

I remember an update a while ago, they released one main full fledged car and two oddities (the russian things i think), I'd really like to see that again. After they changed the truck name from semi to US semi in the game files, it gave me the idea for an update where the main vehicle is a modern SUV/pickup, and then the 2 oddity vehicles are a euro style cabover and a weird monocoque that could be a futuristic open wheel car or an LMP style car etc

honestly i agree with ya MuYe. some Porsche's in this game would be absolutely insane. ik there are some mods out there (which are acceptable), but if there were some in-game built Porsche's would be some of the most fun things this game could have. almost nothing sounds better than driving a 992 GT3RS around West Coast USA. luv u MuYe ❤

I just realized a few days ago that BeamNG for some reason doesn't have any convertibles or even sunroofs or ragtops, would be very nice to have those. Especially now that the interiors look nice and there is also VR compatibility.

For F1 though I would want to have the new cars but with some iconic ones as well. That would be awesome. Probably the same for NASCAR and LeMans aswell.
Would like to see more super cars and hyper cars like Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari 488 pista, McLaren Senna, Porsche 911 GT3 RS or Konegsegg Jesko to name a few, some sports cars too like BMW M5 Competition, Mercedes AMG C63, Toyota GR86, Subaru BRZ, M3 Competition to name a few again.

The closest thing to a Group C car we currently have is the Bolide Race Car, which is quite scary already. But we can always put another level on that :)

The Johnson Valley RV has a mod which makes it driveable. It isn't the greatest, but with a bit of improvement, it could be heavenly.

4:40 Mercedes or Volvo might be good contenders. They both have trucks, but also busses. And I would like to see a European bus in BeamNG, like the Mercedes Citaro lineup (Citaro, Citaro G, Citaro GL/CapaCity). Yes, I know that there is the Capsule bus mod, and I love it, but I would like a normal bus like what is driving in my country.

I want to see more variety. Currently we have 4 French cars, 3 German cars, 7 Japanese and 10 United States cars. I'd love to see more variety, such as some Australian cars, Swedish, and maybe more SEA. Also I'd love to see a rear-engine sports car - especially something like a 959 that is older but still stupidly good.
There's already an amazing ETK 800 ute mod, but I WANT MORE. In-game vehicles that have the same market segment as the Ford Territory did, or the Ford Falcon.
Also, fire engines. Something like the KME Predator mod that RoR had.
I’d love more destructible environment, plus more realism (like fire is not so beautiful) plus AI behaving like a Racing SIM and not being useless

Back when BeamNG was still just a tech demo, the most popular mod for years was a steamroller. They need to add both a steamroller, and a bulldozer. Bulldozer customization would include steel/concrete composite hull armor.

Given that BeamNG doesn't have many, or any at all, forms of monetization after the purchase of the game, expanding the company will likely lead to paid DLCs to pay for more employees and office space, and taxes.

yes, developing games isn't cheap. But hiring more people will help in long term bc updates roll out faster, players dont throw the game away as fast. Bc now 70 people clearly aren't enough for such complicated project. I know plenty of people who tried this game and threw it away, their reasons were that there is not enough content, too many bugs. And This game is in development for 12 YEARS. I Dont think that running company paying taxes & salaries is cheaper than hiring 10-30 more devs if the game is taking so long. ( 16-20 years in total till full release probably )

To add to your list of racing vehicles you like to see. I would also like to see a complete update for drag vehicles from the NHRA. Imagine driving one of those things man. I believe the fastest ones go 300 miles and hour. Im more of a nascar fan myself but still I would love to see a update for them things
