I can't believe that in 2024 I still remember these series. It turns out that in my country, Bulgaria, it was televised in 1996, and I was born in 1992😅
Never saw it when it first came out because I was only a baby but I remember when reruns were shown on Noggin. I think it came on right before Bill Nye the science guy
I DIDN"T JUST IMAGINE IT! I remember very little of my childhood but a few scenes from cartoons are vivid. I was able to find all the others I remembered before but not 'That show with the mammoth'. Finding this has made my day! I remember the episode with the horse and the one where their trying to get one of the burly caveman to take a bath, plus some scenes from the intro. Please keep posting these
You know what always gets me and got me as a kid? Phil's family, friends, whole species in fact, is dead. He's a sad creature in thought, yet is so cheerful and happy to lend a trunk.
Perhaps all the reminiscing is a form of therapy to Phil. The real question is, what happened with the other mammoths and the cavemen in the wake of Phil's fall into the glacier?
A cartoon that I enjoyed so much when young, somehow has Mammoths with a theoretical knowledge of relativity. I suppose, if they know that as much as they can be as arrogant as the dialogue says. Blast from the past, either way.
Yesss. So glad I found this. Used to love it as a child. I've been feeling nostalgic about mammoths from since I can remember... this is defo the reason for it.
I remember watching it on MEPTV (Maine Public Television). MEPTV WCBB-TV Channel 10 in Lewiston/Portland, Maine is affiliate with PBS. I used to watch it along with Sesame Street, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, Shining Time Station, Reading Rainbow, Square One Television, 3-2-1 Contact, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, and many other shows on PBS.
Note to future makers of awesome shows: Please give your show a name that's longer than three letters. This sort of name is incredibly difficult to search for. I so much want to show this entire series, short as it was, to my nephews and niece. But I can't find it anywhere. Netflix doesn't have it and Amazon doesn't have it and looking for DVDs of it comes up with a bunch of crazy stuff that shares the name, and when I finally resorted to looking for torrents I couldn't find it there either. This show is much too good to disappear. Keep Circulating the Tapes, people!
I hunted all over and couldn't find it. Maybe things changed in a year, or maybe the key word "cartoon" really was the difference; dunno. However, I have been stymied by three-letter names before, due to technical limitations. For example, it was physically impossible to search the Rock Band forum for "Ska" because it wanted a longer search term. I can't recall the other terms that've hit that limitation but I know there've been a few. Maybe I met with no quick results for Cro and concluded it was more of the same. Though, really, the worst trouble I've had trying to track down a thing wasn't about length, it was about commonality. One of my favorite useful pieces of freeware is called, literally, "Words." Try finding THAT if all you know is its name :\
"it's the twentieth century! I'd like to be in before the twenty first!" Oh my god, I don't know why, but that made me crack up so much. Probably because it IS the twenty first century.
See this show is actually from the Dark Times in Doctor Who, before Time was bound and when mammoths were sentient and intelligent. This is just a non-tyrannical branch. 40 points to whoever understands this obscure ass reference.
the intro sounds a bit stronger here ruclips.net/video/Qfgp3yNH70k/видео.html. The show developers wanted Kids to learn about Cro magnion through the show. it didn't work and the show was canned.
Truly underrated show. Taught science to kids.
sup cutie

I was a teenager but still loved watching this in the 90s. Gosh I miss those times/era.
Good god, I thought this show was a fever dream I had! No one else I've talked to seems to remember it at all. I loved this thing!
WHY DOES EVERYONE SAY THIS !!! I think it's a conspiracy.. It has to be the key to something xD
Never saw it when it first came out because I was only a baby but I remember when reruns were shown on Noggin. I think it came on right before Bill Nye the science guy

Thank you for letting us watch this cartoon again after so long time ago. Anyway, funny that the new primitive cartoons or film it's called croods.

I've been trying to find this show for so long! Thanks for uploading

Revisiting years later. I just noticed that little time dilation experiment at the end of this clip xD haaah
I remember watching this when Noggin first came on. I think it came on either right before or right after Bill Nye the science guy
madringking1119 and wild side?
@madringking1119 Me too. When Noggin was a cable channel
Yesss. So glad I found this. Used to love it as a child. I've been feeling nostalgic about mammoths from since I can remember... this is defo the reason for it.

I loved this show. I wish there were more episodes on youtube.

TheLastTrueblade I sure hope CRO comes to PBS Kids Sprout. I used to see this on PBS in the 90's.
BuddyBoy600alt it actually aired on ABC that time.
Where did you find this one?
Probably one of the catchier theme songs of animation. I didn't remember the lyrics per say, but I knew the musical notes just fine.
This was one of my favs in the 90s. Funny as hell and smart too.

Do you think Eep and Guy are Cro's parents?
See this show is actually from the Dark Times in Doctor Who, before Time was bound and when mammoths were sentient and intelligent. This is just a non-tyrannical branch.
40 points to whoever understands this obscure ass reference.
And I think they also aired it on TVO in Canada.
Got anymore episodes? Or know where to find more?
Fantastic! I just hit a wave of nostalgia today, and totally wanted to watch the opening to this show!
Also, nice quality on the video. =o

"It's the twentieth century, I'd like to get in before the twenty-first rolls around!"
Too late, kid. :D
"A cro bar"
It was a shame. I loved Cro! I thought Doctor C was really cool!
7:40 Did they just state the theory of relativity in a kids show?
Today if a kids show says 5*5=25 it's considered an intelligent program
How does a Mammoth fit in the shower. lol
The one I had, had different voice actors tho.
en español latino lo puedo conseguir
