    Defense was outstanding I’m sure they only gave up 31 yards total in the second half think about that for a minute!!!
    The most glaring thing that I hope everyone sees whether you’re the offensive line or receivers or running backs nobody and I mean nobody wants to block

    Something is wrong, seriously wrong in the locker room when the OC doesn't talk to the players after a loss and the players have their own meeting later. Brent is head coach and he's still acting like DC.

    Demarco needs to go too. His playing ability hasn't turned into coaching. His backs still aren't developing. Not learning the plays. Not learning how to block. That's coaching. Tatums ability to break tackles is natural talent and strength. And he got into it with Tawee Walker and lost him when we could have used him this year.

    Step by step on how to fix Oklahoma.
    Step 1. demote Brent to DC.
    Step 2. Hire Bob Stoops as HC.
    Step 3. Rehire Cale Gundy as OC.
    Step 4. Get all the soft ass cry babies outta the locker room.

      Hypothetically, i do agree with you 100%. Realistically, i dont know what we do at this point. Brent should stick with Defense only and i think BV is a great man….not HC material though.

      Everything about what you said was stupid. Stoops is obviously retired, Venables would never accept a demotion (he doesn't need a demotion either just a new offensive coordinator), Cale Gundy said the damn N word on video so if we did hire him back teams would immediately negatively recruit against him, and what soft players are you talking about? Either give an actual plan to fix it instead of some dumb pipe dream when it's clear that Stoops has been done with coaching/recruiting for a decade

    I'm really conflicted about firing the offensive coordinator right now instead of the end of the season. As bad as it is right now I don't see how losing even more continuity on the offense right before we play Ole Miss will improve even a little bit. All of that being said I think we have to begin the search for an offensive coordinator right now and hire whoever it is at the end of the season. Even if that means getting rid of most of that staff outside of Emmitt Jones and Bill B

    • @HOF-CFB

      He became a head coach based on his success as a coordinator at UNC and Indiana, Coach, and is the only head coach in 40 yearts to win 9 games at UNT, which he did twice.
      But trying to marry the two systems together has exposed a weakness to be sure.
      Injuries didn't help either, but this shouldnt be hard for a Notre Dame fan to understand, seeing how the Irish have been a competent offense away from being a true contender for years now...

    Im starting think Brent may have to go. Brent and offense horrible. Why would fake punt on the 30? Oc not watch film on other teams, why wold u run your freshman qb into the best part of the other team defense and try to block them with worst blockers we have

    • @mylespoun9709
      @mylespoun9709 9 часов назад

      Makes absolutely no sense to fire Brent when we just gave him an extension. You fake a punt cause the offense is so abysmal and you're already down 21-0. Who the hell cares at that point if it's 24-0 versus 21-0? Brent needs to fire the coordinator the second the season ends and bring in an offensive coordinator that has experience developing quarterbacks.

  • @kenthatfr
    @kenthatfr 8 часов назад

    If Seth Litrell was going to be an amazing OC, he would have done that before his 40s, having had to come home to OU, apparently the halfway house for former players who've been fired as coaches. He came back as an analyst having been fired from North Texas at 44-44, his last season was 4-7 I think. That's not an excelling coach. And Brent thought he was the choice first rate OC for the University of Oklahoma. Or he's just trying to help former players out down on their luck. Either way, they don't belong as coaches here.

    • @HOF-CFB
      @HOF-CFB  5 часов назад +1

      To be fair, Seth became a head coach based on his success as a coordinator at UNC and Indiana, and he's the first coach in 40 years to win 9 games at North Texas, and he did it twice (as the primary play caller I might add).
      He certainly came up small here, and far be it from me to defend the job he's done at OU, but his qualifications were in order.
