From a writing perspective the mayor just seems like a bit of a douche?? He doesn't like the way his daughter runs the town, so instead of talking to her like an adult, he brought her cousin in just to prove her wrong. That's so spiteful! No wonder Penny refuse to give in to the Mayor's demands.
He brought in child labor for his family feud.
Also why the hell does she somehow have more power than the goddamn mayor?
It is just me or are we getting lately a lot of rough farming games. I mean it can happen with indie games but it feels like there were a lot that just wanted to jump on the farming train. Hopefully coral Island breaks that trend.
We are getting a lot of rough games. 😢 I'm very hopeful for Coral Island however, and there are other promising games on their way!
They wanted to reel in some people who newly enjoy farming game, because of pandemic farming/simulation game have been rocketed, games like SoS, Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing sales has been rocketed, that why we get some indie trying to cash in on the trend
@@JoshGamingGarden im kinda skeptikal with coral island, the game kinda looks to smilar to stardew valley with 3d graphic, and from personal experience i always skeptikal when the game from kickstarter looks too good to be true
@@JoshGamingGarden The problem is that a lot of devs were trying to cash in on the drought of farm games we had. I think they all saw that several of the bigger releases were coming soon (such as Harvestella), panicked, and decided to release their games before they had been properly tuned. Many of these games had potential and were ruined not from bad concepts but from many little issues adding up into big ones.
Same thing happened from the height of Minecraft popularity. A lot of rough sandbox games. Few gems but a ton of soulless imitations.
No offense to the artists and all, but what is it with all these recent farming games having the ugliest looking characters. A lot of them look like off brand Lego characters. A lot of these games have been trying to go for a "chibi" character style with small bodies, large head and eyes, etc, but when done poorly it just looks really bad and offputting. I know this probably comes off as mean, but I do think there should be a little more time and effort put into the character designs.
I'm hoping it'll get some tune-ups while it's being ported to other systems. Graphics and framerate fixes, UI touch ups, controller support (no Pro Controller support is just weird) and the like, but honestly the thing this game needed the most was a bit more time in the oven before it was released.
Hokko life is so scary to me. Idk why they designed it so ugly
As someone who used to draw only chibi and followed many chibi artists, the character design for this game looks like it was probably a competent artist who has very little experience with drawing chibi. As you say, no offense to the artist, but this is pretty typical. (You can check "how to draw chibi" from 8 years ago on RUclips and find similar art by non-chibi artists)
I think they are copying story of seasons friends of mineral town. The big chibi bobble heads and small body’s.🫤
its okay you can say hokko life
This one looks like it's trying to be an off-off-brand Animal Crossing player character.
So wait, let me get this straight. The townspeople basically moved away due to penny's influence to go live in the city...but she also opened a giant expensive store to cater to....no-one? No wonder the town is doomed. I also want to know how the people moved away and took their houses with them cause clearly it was thriving before but somehow lost 75% of it's structures.
Maybe the homes were setup to be able to be dismantled and moved whenever the owner wished? There were buildings in the old west that were like that and the owners would just move the building from one town to another.
I never tried this game so thanks for showing it to me.
Maybe Penny's influence is having the super market to show easy city people have it. Have machines do all the work so you don't have to do all the heavy duty stuff. Lol
It's pretty damn dumb but not the stupidest thing I've ever heard in a farming sim game. Let's not forget that the story of the latest Harvest Moon somehow revolves around a society of people that forgot what seeds are.
@@Hellraiser2107 seriously?😂
@@RedK5 yes, seriously. The whole game's plot is basically "remind this society of dumbasses how plants work".
this looks like one of those bootleg movies people make to trick parents into thinking its a new disney or pixare film. Like "Whats up" instead of "UP"
Exactly what I was thinking this is a money grab for grandparents thinking they are getting Stardew valley for their grandkids!
@@makeitthrough_ I like Watchung commentary videos on those I find them funny. Ihe did one on that one I would like to watch the whole thing one day with friends XD
@@pokemami which sucks bc stardew isn't even expensive, so they might even save some money idk how much this game cost
That is definitely not a $40 game. That's a $2.99 game.
They should pay you to play this shit!
@@robertwildschwein7207 LOL! And even then it might not be worth it.
Right, not worth that price at all
nah bc stardew is better and cheaper
Stardew is $15!
I was thinking to myself, “wow the title seems a bit harsh, but Josh’s judgement has always been fair”, but man, you were being nice! This game looks like the pre-planning stages you do in game development in order to map out what works and well or not in your game. Bloody hell.
I agree looks like an alpha build of a game
@@chibiarts9029 looks like pre-alpha 😭
Looks like a mobile clone of something ;(
Also literally all the dialogue in this game is like:
"Hi didn't you live here before? Remember me, I'm Kay! Slap that A button to give me a gift and be my friend! Penny sucks! Go to the Library! They forgot to give me a personality!"
Okay, so, I saw that there were no reviews on this game so I thought "ooh I should buy it and make my first video review about it!" I was so excited. Then I bought it and started playing it and OMG it is just... not very good at all. I could barely play it for an hour. Also, the character portrait always looks the same. I gave my character skin, whitish hair and a giant dark beard and the character portrait is still the same as the one that you saw.
Sorry you had to go through that 😆
@@JoshGamingGarden lol, it's fine. I'm still gonna play it.
@@JoshGamingGarden I think your character matched the portrait because you choose all the default options lol
Same here...
So dosappointed and $30 plus gone
@@jahipalmer8782 honestly I'd kinda love to see your review too, if you haven't refunded it yet. I hope you have, though, for your sake lol
I was put off by the $40 price tag and wow it’s worse than I ever imagined
I was put off by the ugly characters first. And lmao when I saw the price. That's more than what some good quality indie games cost.
@@PotatoCheeks ikr?? Inflation has been bad so I understand the jump to $30 for many games… but $40 for those graphics? Yikes
Gotta give them credit for one thing aaa games almost never master - sleeping under the blanket.
True since nobody seems to get the blanket animations correctly
@@omegagamer4124 Harvest Moon 64 did
Here is a little backstory
The "dev" actually made this "game" to revenge his childhood bully Penny. That's why everyone in the game hates Penny and is opposed to everything she does (Supermarkets, machines, etc).
The legend says, he just slapped some free unity assets onto a flat surface and called it a "game". He also didn't find a free townhall asset, which is why the townhall is a church.
The loser didn't even bother to impliment the collisions.
Sounds like a weirdo, almost as weird as MDickie at times, although MDickie is actually a nice guy.
@@VortexKiller2 LOL I just played Hard Time yesterday
Fun game but ridiculously hard. My record is like surviving one week
So now he is well padded financially because of us trusting suckers🤣
SO THATS WHY ALL THE MODELS LOOK SO OUT OF PLACE
Wait, seriously? Where'd you get this? (not accusing you of lying by the way, just genuinely curious how you got to know about this)
assuming you dont know about it, a big warning about the first boss: its a crying cow and you cannot attack it. you have to try to outrun it (even with maxed out run speed its hard as hell) as it hits hard as hell and you have to wait for it to get tired out and give it several flowers to deplete its health. i barely managed to drop its health twice then got steamrolled. i just uninstalled it after that point because it was a waste playing it if i was just going to game over fighting it without HP restoratives.
It's a farming game where you have to basically *battle a cow?*
They set a pumpkins growth time for 1 day for the tutorial and forgot to change it again so all pumkins grow fast
So they didn't playtest this game at all. LOL!
They got some nerve for charging that much for this mess 😒. No shade to the team but this needs to go back to the oven to bake a bit more
I agree, but the worst is Natsume charging 50 for their shity harvest moon, God i hate them!!!
@@marconieves302 oh yeah they’re definitely banking more on the name than on the game alone
@@Sk8rGamingKei Criticism = Hate, ok sure bud.
@@Sk8rGamingKei it’s not about being a hater… this game is $40 and it’s very unpolished. We’re literally looking out for each other 😒
@@Sk8rGamingKei alright cool! Enjoy it then ✌️
You really are right...the music definately sounds like 5 Minute crafts lol and I didn't really want to buy this game because the graphics looked too Mobile Game-y so I'm glad i went with my gut and decided against it now.
It would have been better as a mobile game. At least the price would have been more reasonable
They probably got their royalty-free music from the same place.
Oh, no! That lightning bolt stamina meter is straight out of a mobile farming game! 😅
That is an absolutely crazy price for this game though, how do they think they can ask that much?
Why does the floor look warped in the supermarket? And they didn't even bother lining the floor pattern up in the community center.
Remember when they brought harvest moon light of hope from mobile to consoles and charged 60 for it and willowdale is only on switch with console release soon
straight up those icons are from farmville or some other facebook farming game 😭 both hilarious and tragic
This definitely looks like it was a mobile game they turned into a Switch game at the last second. I can't imagine spending $40 on this. Maybe $15-$20 but with all the other options out there, I still wouldn't be interested lol.
Probably worth buying only when it's on Sale.
Or just buy Stardew Valley.
Hell, you could buy Skyrim (Not a farming game but a great game none the less) instead for just a little bit more money!
I've gotten tons more fun and found so many more beautiful games for 15$ i would place this game more around the 5$ mark
this game feels like a mobile game, in my opinion. i am not a fan of the art style of the characters, though the design of the building is actually pretty cute. i think from what i've seen you play, the story seems SO similar to harvest moon: a new beginning! they just added a joja mart-esque "enemy" in it.
it’s giving snapchat farmland
@@bellaferraiolo7794 that's literally such a good description for it omg! you get it
Tru
This is literally the worst game in the $40-price-point that I have ever seen!! Atrocious and the production team should be ashamed of themselves for releasing such a terrible mess!!
You know the team that makes the game doesn't price the game right?😐 Clearly someone who did either doesn't know gaming market, gaming design & or is money hungry leeching merchant.
Oh goodness :(
I was excited about the unique premise, too. I was willing to overlook the silly 'why does the mayor's daughter have so much power' thing--because I thought maybe it was a gag joke about the mayors in farming games never doing anything, lol. After watching this though I doubt that was a thought the team had . . .
Nothing about this game is unique unfortunately 😭
Unique? This thing is practically a 1:1 ripoff of Stardew Valley.
@@yannickgrignon2473 it's a Stardew Valley parody lmao
@@luchirimoya Aren't parodies supposed to be funny?
@@yannickgrignon2473 yeah, I guess haha, the only funny thing here is how bad the game is 😭
“The music is stressing me out a little bit”
i physically laughed out loud
Unfortunately, the music loops every 30 seconds I wouldn't able to handle it. I wouldn't be able on Switchlite if only uses joycons. I had bad feeling about this game maybe because of graphics. I can see why this game is delayed till 18th for Steam and other console. Thanks for making review because the ones I could find are in German. Due to my bad experience with Hokko Life I might as wait for Harvestella and better off playing Dinkum.
Can't wait for Harvestella!
This is more expensive then Disney dream light valley. The quality is not even close to that game. Way overpriced for sure
I want to play a farming game that doesn't put itself at odds with the idea of big cities and machines. That seems like such an easy-out for building the world of the game.
You should take a look at Sunnyside, it's going to have a theme of modernizing farming in a positive light. The first thing that caught my attention is that it's going to let you water your crops with a hose instead of a watering can. My mind was blown because it's something so obvious, yet you never see it in games where you water plants. The devs put a lot on emphasis on using modern technology to help improving your experience, you even get a smartphone too.
Littlewood’s plot has nothing to with being anti-city! Its a refreshing difference 😄
Yeah, it's this weird kind of fetishization of a "simpler" past, when people worked way harder to produce way less. If you're helping out an entire town economically, wouldn't a tractor help?
It says a lot when the first week of the game's quests all say "Go to sleep" after doing one thing just to skip the time because there's nothing else to do 😅
It looks like a vertical slice made by a college dev for an exam...
Bro I'm in uni for game art and even in our project prototypes and vertical slices we have higher standards lol
Woof, this is ROUGH. Cleanse your palate with something good, like Littlewood haha
I am so sorry for your sacrifice Josh, but thank you for saving me money! I will most definitely not buy this one and wait for the next story of seasons a wonderful life instead! :)
Hi, SoS coming?! Exciting. I love the SoS games, except for 'New world'. I think that's the name.

This will be refund simulator on steam. Shame they'll probably catfish some people on switch shop where you can't refund this mess.
Refund Simulator 😆But yeah I suspect that might be why they decided to release on Switch first... Nintendo really needs to either let us refund, or have some sort of quality control.
@@JoshGamingGarden with all the shovelware and straight up hentai games on there I doubt that anyone at Nintendo bother with quality control on what gets to be in the eshop.
Omg I remember just being worried from seeing the facial animations (especially the eyes). I wish they took more time, a year or two, to make the best out of it.
I think they would need to start from scratch to make something good out of it. 😅
$40 for this too? Big yikes
Omg hi I’m a fan
Me: Mom, I want Stardew Valley!!
Mom: No sweetie, we have Stardew Valley at home already..

Seriously where is this joke from? I’ve been asking others about this stupid meme but no one answer you’re probably not going to reply to this are you!!!!!
Oh my Lord-thanks for taking the hit for us, soldier 😭
Edit: is it just me, or do they take their house with them when they move out like villagers in Animal Crossing-
Sounds like a good feature tbh
why do some characters have a nose and others don't? like the mayor does, you would think it's because of the glasses but even his wife has no nose
Not the 5 Minute Crafts music 😂😂😂 I'm also shook at the price tag.
yeeeeaaahhh. That music tho... I felt you. It was SO bad. Graphics are pretty bad too, I noticed the trees by the river blinking as you crossed the bridge from your farm. I think for now i'll stick to Stardew Valley, and Story of Seasons: PooT. Plus the bunnies in Bunny Park need more decorations lol.
yeah, i wouldn't pay $15 USD for this, so definitely not paying more. this looks like garbage.
$39.99 USD????? For this????
It's quite the rip off if honestly. I usually try to be less rude but this game has so many problems. A shame considering how cute the characters look
lol
What kind of cursed potato is that!?
Damn, this game feels like an Alpha instead of a final work...
There are so many lackluster farming games these days just trying to capitalize on the growing market. If you guys are looking for an actually well designed little farming game I’d recommend Littlewood. 😄🌻 I got it on Steam summer sale this year for $2, and I got so many play hours out of it I would have gladly payed $30. Its awesome 💖
This looks like something I’d see on a mobile game ad. I don’t usually think shade at the company or developers who made the game is warranted, but it definitely is here. Charging $50 for this shit is just criminal
Charging even $20 for this would be criminal honestly lol
@@ladykupo charging a dollar for this should be a crime
This is a mobile game you pay $40 for. Sick.
22:08 I've repeated so many times that uncomfy laugh describes the game well. XD
seeing this game in what looks like an early access/early alpha/beta stage makes me cringe. It looks like it has some potential but the devs were in a rush to get it in stores.
this is the first time I've come across your channel. I saw the title and thought "It can't be that bad" but daaaaaamn! This looks like a mobile game. No way I'd pay $40 for this. Save your money, get Stardew Valley for $15!
Too many people are trying to cash in on this genre of games. Ew.
if they're gonna go with the whole anti technology thing in this game they should have a unabomber-esque character
Oh hot damn that's WAY too expensive for the quality of this game 😳😬
This is not a 40$ game... Sunny Side and Coral Island is going to be so much better and I don't even think the starting price tag would be as high. Then again, I could see Sunny Side being about 30-40$ but damn, it would be much more worth the money and time.
The Ui Looks ALOT like the game "My Time at Portia" but it's red. Also, the game looks far from finished. Most of the buildings look like they are too big and spacious. Then the character models.... look like they belong in the emoji movie with how round and big their heads are. I think there are too many farming games coming out right now, similar to how for a while there were too many fnaf clones years ago.
Ooof, it was looking okay if a bit generic from the opening cutscene, but as soon as the 3D models appeared it immediately got ROUGH
Like the style is promising but the execution is very much unfinished wow...
OH GOD THE WALK ANIMATION
Holy shit it's like it drops visual budget with each new scene
Looking at the thumbnail I thought the sheep was some scaly monster, I thought it's face was its mouth.
Thank you for this, I can't believe they'd sell something like that for 40$... You're our purse-savior ^^
I bought it on release day. Thought it was gonna be great. I can’t believe Nintendo would allow it on their store. And of course, they don’t do refunds on digital purchases. $40 I’ll never see again.
I really cannot handle how hideous the characters are
Imagine being a kid asking your mum for this. You would be so disappointed.
The whole theming of this game feels so weirdly regressive. I absolutely understand the whole "small business > big corporation" thing, and it's true in the real world as well. But the issue is that big corporations can usually sell CHEAPER - not more expensively - than local small businesses, which makes this "overpriced megamart" just feel out of touch with reality.
Not to mention, obviously no one needs a blacksmith anymore, that career was pretty much out of date a hundred years ago, I'm guessing it was obsolete well before Bertha got into it.
Is the message that we should be blindly following tradition, no matter how impractical?
This games artstyle looks like the dev found a bunch of random free models wirh semi similar artsyles, didnt bother to size them proportionatley and then tried to draw their own textures for them using ms paint
this game tried too hard to be a stardew valley-like but it ended up looking like a free match 3 mobile game with in-game purchases
the character is so ugly, help
I know. I hate their faces.
Not the 5 minutes craft music 😂😂😂 that made laugh!!
The cutscenes seem really good and the character portfolio. The actual gameplay is like Playstation2 graphics ;;
Joycons only doesn't bother me as I only play handheld on my Switch, though it's a weird choice for sure. The way the graphics style look in the stills I think are really cute but your actual characters looks really off and just... not right.
Super disappointing as there's definitely some mechanics and features that are interesting but, agreed it looks very unfinished graphically for sure and just slapped together while still in progress to get it out almost - maybe because there was sooo many cozy esque games releasing in September.
I was really looking forward to this one from the eshop listing pics and description but, am glad I didn't grab it yet. Was waiting for reviews with that insane price point so thank you very much. Might keep watch on it to see if it improves and goes on a very big sale...
I agree, I actually really like the 2D drawn characters, but the 3D models are ... not good
Why is the mayor the only one with a nose?
It bothers me more than it should.
*WHAT IS THAT MONSTER IN THE THUMBNAIL!* Looks like some demon German Shepherd!
It's supposed to be a llama or alpaca 😭
My god even moving items in the inventory kills the framerate.
Doraemon Story of Seasons Friends of The Great Kingdom has a Demo on PC which I've been playing and it's sooo good. I highly recommend you play it! The game allows you to play up to 7-days in game-time so probably enough to harvest some crops and ship them and cook some food. You get some things that aren't available in the full game and the game is really relaxing! I'm enjoying the new features so far and I'm definitely glad I preordered it. The Deluxe Version of the pre order set def seems worth a purchase if you like the demo and the performance on PC is flawless!
I've had no issues other than trying to get used to button controls on my Xbox controller as I had the first game on Switch. Sadly I haven't been able to download the Demo yet on Switch. Though I do think they're really pushing the game on PC so since it looks so good on PC anyway - on mine anyway - I just play mine on PC. It's really not that graphically intense on my PC so I don't think most people will have a hard time handling the intensity. Since the first game only requires you to have something like Windows 7 or higher for your PC. This only needs Windows 8 or 10, so Id don't think people should worry to much. It's still a very pretty game though and very cozy. A lot of quality of life improvements were added. I'd like to see you cover it on your channel.
It's an amazing demo, I got to play it yesterday! They improved on so many things, and it does indeed run very well. Can't wait to play the full version!
This really REALLY does feel like it's a mobile game that just got enhanced for the Switch, so would be free (with ads) on ios/android and the Switch port with its slight enhancements and lack of ads would be like $5.
Why is the text FLYING by in the opening. Like why would they not let you click to continue
This kinda looks like some free facebook game my mom would like. Farmville but worse
Edit:It could also just be a coincidence and that most farming games have the same mechanics but it seems like the story and gameplay is justtt grazing against Stardew Valley
Gosh, that was just sad. I love calm and relaxing farming/life sim games, so I try to scour RUclips for new hidden gems, but this was rough for sure. It's really a shame, and I hope that the devs can find success in the future in a project they enjoy, but, taking time to polish it...
Some of my favorite games are of this genre... Stardew Valley, the Animal Crossing games... seeing this video makes me think about how much I love those, and how much I love them *because* of all of the time and love put into them. They're not just plethora of assets/objects/characters, but worlds lovingly made, tied-together, with "harmony," where everything works... this was such a sad mish-mash of things, of some elements that were somewhat good, and some that were outright bad.
It's sad, like... if this game was taken down, the devs took the time to fix it, and its price was lowered, I'd like to think they could do better. I wish them no harm, and it's not the worst game I've ever seen, but it did honestly shock me how pricey this game is for how unfinished it is. To me, it's definitely a solid example of something that's the opposite of a labor of love: a "bandwagon" game like you said, to try to get on the hype of chill sim games.
It's obvious that games made by people who really care about their work and enjoy their work really shine true, so, I hope that these devs can experience a project they truly love and enjoy someday.❤
Josh, have you been in contact with the devs since making this video? What's the status? Are they working on all the issues? Or are they content charging $40 for this?
OH MY GOD… This uses a free set of Unity assets. I played a really REALLY BAD Minecraft clone called “Genesis Online” that used the SAME EXACT CHARACTER CREATION ASSET…
So the veterinarians closed their business b/c everyone went out of town to get aid for their sick animals. But now that everyone has moved out, and as Ava said, no one has animals in town anymore, let's build the veterinarians a new business/house, that'll definitely help them out, and bring them back!
Also, why did everyone stop bringing their sick animals to those veterinarians? Do they really deserve a new & free house?
Also, how long has it been? What happened to the old house?
Too many questions, and not enough care in me to see them answered. (Probably much like the devs lol)
it looks horrible for $40 😭
3:11 finally a farming sim with foreskin colors!
"Chibi" style here is terrifying. Face is waaay too small for this head. The style and graphics is really on mobile games level, ew
Why the character design kinda look like yassified version of pacman and miss pacman 😭😭😭
I don’t like saying this about games cause normally there is some heart in it but… god this game doesn’t have any love in it! It’s really just trying to farm money and nothing else
The characters are too ugly. Even if they improved the game I just couldn't play it. They definitely rushed this.
The intro looks like the cheapest android Stardew Valley ripoff
I feel bad putting out free mods for games when the mods don't have like 8 unique features, and yet people will fart out games like this and charge $40...
Hardly 10 mins in and I already feel annoyed at this game and I'm just watch you play.
Thanks bullet dodged and money saved.
It seems rushed and fell flat.
That music 😫 takes you right out of the game.
you should get a refund that was horrible, I have no idea how you are so nice especially for the price they asked.
Nintendo doesn't offer refunds. 😭I feel like that's the only reason why they decided to publish it on the e-shop before the Playstation Store and Steam, because these other 2 allow for refunds.
@@JoshGamingGarden that's so dirty, that shouldn't be allowed.
I think it's cute but I was surprised by the $40 price tag. Stardew Valley is only $15. Its almost as expensive as Sos:Pioneers of olive town. In this day and age games are being released very often (which is a good thing) but it also means most of us can't buy every game that looks interesting. We have to pick the one that seems the most worth it and I don't think I can justify buying it at $40. Especially because Story of seasons: Doreamon sequel releases in a couple days and then Pokémon Scarlet/Voilet in a couple weeks. If the eshop has a sale for it then I'll definitely snatch it up.
instead of getting this, you guys can wait for Doraemon Story of Seasons Friends of the Great Kingdom, that game look very good and have more upgrade from the previous Doraemon farming game. it will come to Switch as well
I don't understand how they couldn't have designed better looking characters than that.....
I don't like the art style at all, this is a embarrassment as a farming game
$5 early access game at BEST... $40 for this is absurd. Borderline thievery
Lol, thanks for taking one for the team Josh 😀 My hope now rests with Coral Island. Also I wonder if you have checked out any info on World of Anterra? Although not a straight farming sim it looks amazing.
I sadly bought this before I watched your video. My son begged me to get it as its "coop" and he was like oh we can visit eachother and go to the store and cook for eachother
YEAH RIGHT. 40$ lost, me and my son both extremely disappointed in this garbage. The co op is a joke, you can't do ANYTHING as player two. You just follow player 1 around and you can't go into buildings, you can't talk to anyone, you share a screen its not splitscreen, you can't walk 2 cm without the screen freezing because you're too far from the other player, you don't have your own house or anything you can't even drop out of the game if you want to go solo again you have to turn the GAME OFF
I am so upset that they charge this much for such rubbish. Everything is laggy and you have to damn walk so far, the fences make you walk longer you can't jump, the fences have one opening and the freaky kids on the playground every single damn day. It's like a mental hospital prison town where everyone looks like loonies
He still wants to play it because we bought it, but for real if they don't do some major updates I'm gonna stay so mad. I've never bought such a bad game before 😅
Oh and the music omg. I turned that off after 5 minutes I was going crazy. I put on Spotify and listened to Talking Heads instead. "Physco killer" fits the game and the looks of the townies perfectly 😂
I was so excited for this game. They hyped it up so much and made it look really good with the trailer. It's so bad. I tried so hard to keep playing, but I just couldn't do it. The characters are ugly, they have no personality, they stand in one spot in their really empty houses/shops. There's no design to anything. You can't jump over fences in town. The animals are ugly. The crops are ugly. Lol. I just can't. I can see potential, but it's going to take A LOT of work!
I'm so excited for Coral Island. This? Not so much. xD
It feels like the game is trying to rip off Harvest Moon and My Sims at the same time but somehow failed at both
This game is like something I would get for my Nintendo ds and have no idea where I got it from. I only try to play it once then never play it again.
The beginning definitely reminds me of the game grumps’ “the story of…” animation XD
Idk, it looks like a parody game of some popular farming game. Like how stumble guys is to fall guys
I never understood why people are so obsessed with the chibi style, especially those without noses. They.. usually don't look that good, and this game isn't an exception to that. Pop a lil nose on the character models and they'd look a lot better. I think this game has potential, but it seems rushed and unpolished, like they wanted to quickly hop on the AC / Stardew / other popular newer Indie farming games train. Honestly, I think they're trying to heavily copy AC and Stardew, with the models of the characters and how the farm is laid out with it's debris. I hope they can fix it up, add in the collision boxes and tidy up those character models and clipping issues, tweak the story a bit. It can be fixed, they just didn't put any effort into it.
OMG this looks really, really terrible
