Hello Steve, fellow karter here; may I ask what mount do you use to fix your go pro to your helmet? Just the standard 3M sticky mount? Or do you use another? Has it ever come off? That's my major concern; losing the camera or damaging it. And you mount it on your chin, correct? Have you tried the top of the helmet position? Also, do you have any tips on driving in the wet on slick tires? Any good resources I can look up or theories? Cheers mate. Great channel; glad I discovered it.
Hi there, The mount I use is a 'gopro vented cycle mount' which wraps around the chin bar back onto itself. It has never fallen off and feels very rigid to me. www.amazon.co.uk/GoPro-Vented-Helmet-Strap-Mount/dp/B002EF2200 I've never tried mounting to the top as I've watched videos where that has been done and hate the angle of view it produces. I think the view in this video is the best viewpoint. Perhaps you wet weather driving on slicks, you could watch a few of my older videos where it has been raining. Main tips would be to go in deep at the beginning of the corner, then rotate the kart before driving out in a straight line.
what sort of budget would you say is the minimum to get into the world of karting and actually enjoy it? Is it cheaper to go club 100 etc or buy and maintain your own kart?
Wish you to win this championship!
Thank you for uploading as always. I really enjoy watching these races

Good stuff! I thought you had 2nd sewn up :(
Silly question for you guys : what do the "hand raises" mean please?
it means 'focus on the guy in front' 'dont battle' 'push me' etc
You do it everytime in the hope the guy you just passed doesn't pass you straight back.
Still not convinced guys 😒
It means whatever the guy doing it thinks it means. And sometimes he will think it means something else to what you think it means.
7:55 means "I'm faster than you , don't battle me and ill bring us up to the guy in front"
You should record commentary to this, just like on your gaming channel. I'd watch the heck out of it!
Is this the comment that begun it all?!?!

I really want to do this! But I just can't afford 168 quid a session! is there any way around that cost?
Not really, if that's how much it costs, then that's how much it costs! Could always do a practice which is cheaper but less time of course.

Joe Holmes seemed very slow on the straights, did he have a problem with his kart? His fastest lap was the slowest of the top 15.
He had very bad top end in his kart.

Is 21 too late to get into go karting?
Nope.
I went to a go karting track the other day and really enjoyed it and was thinking of buying a kart myself to race XD
DO IT
Awesome 😎 well done 👍🏻
Why do you turn so sharply into corners??????
Edit: is it because bad grip?
in club100 sometimes it just helps rotate the kart. especially in the rain it just helps to rotate
Why is the wheel upside-down
PSJamie it isn’t
Its not fucktard
