  • What would my mother say!
    Julian Clary: One of the rules of life my mother just kind of passed unto me was: "Just say yes".

    Nice to see Julian sitting with Alan & Jack Dee, two guys who know and respect him as a comedy legend.
    He is very softly spoken, very gentle and witty. Awesome guy.
    I lived near him for a while. Genuinely the most polite man I’ve ever met.

    That was a very upsetting story, even though Jack and Julian tried to add a couple funny buttons to it. That club is basically on the opposite end of the city to Harlem - it would be terrifying to wake up that out of place even as a local. Sounds like he was left for dead 😢

    people in their sixties love to just drop an insane and troubling traumatic event from their young life and then laugh while you just sit there listening making this face o_o

      Because this is the only way we know.I told my husband about what I thought was my totally normal family, and he got the look on his face you described.We didn't talk about truma because no one cared.

    Julian is adorable! Reminds me of a cross between Will Young and John Cameron Mitchell.
    Found out that he briefly worked as a singing telegram from a program. However, if you look up him “singing”, he cannot sing for shit at all, but he’s so loveable that you forgive him for it.

    It's one heck of an anecdote,but suppose a woman had said this happened to them-this would have been horrifying rather than entertaining.

      As a woman I had to stop the video halfway through because NOPE. I genuinely do not understand how some people can be okay with something like that happening to a man just because they're a man.

      Well done for expressing indignation for him. Try to learn that something can be bad and funny at the same time. It's very useful to be able to cope with more than 1 idea at a time

      @daniellamcgee4251 Год назад +8

      @@bbbb98765 Let me guess: you have never been sexual assaulted. It's traumatic. No part of it is funny. Julian wasn't full of mirth telling his story, either.
