Being a kid of the eighties, I have vivid memories of various things that were taking place. For instance, the technological advancements whether it be placed in business or entertainment, the hypocrisy of some people from the church who swindled their congregations for profits, the cutting and eliminating of social programs, the cold war exercises we in elementary school had to practice monthly, in the beginning of his first term tax cuts, only to then raise them later in his second term, the Iran Contra Affair, the just say no campaign, (all the while his atheist son was an addict,) the jellybeans, crack epidemic, the back to the future film obsession that he conveyed into his speeches as he described America as this utopian place, his open door immigration policy just to name a few. Reagan did have the gift of gab, and he was very sharp when it came to comeback wits, but he was an actor who finesseed the American people into further debt and interest rates that we consume and continue to deal with today. Thank you Mr. President for the mergers, stock manipulations and the divisions of the working class citizens as they are no longer in existence.
The only thing I saw from the perspective of an evangelist was they did a terrible job of conveying the change that takes place within a person when Reagan became a Christian. In fact the way they did it made it look like he had a fake conversion to those of us who have shared the gospel in the streets for years. It was several statements he made later in the movie that made him look like he had a genuine conversion, which I believe he did. I was glad to find out he heard a word from Jesus about becoming President. I think Reagan's interaction with the USSR had more to do with what Jesus wanted to do with the USSR and I think it would be interesting for someone to tell this part of Reagan's story. The former USSR opened the door for Christian evangelists within and without Russia. Evangelists were allowed to share the gospel in their public schools, hold evangelistic meetings in their public parks and it became mandatory that Trinity Broadcasting Network be broadcasted into every prison throughout Russia.
Why are we glorifying Hollywood actors and politicians from a perishing world system? It's like admiring the interior decorating of the Titanic while it sinks.

Looking forward to seeing this Tuesday. The Forge is sooooo good btw
“The Big Easy” 1986 is one of his best performances. Crime drama set in New Orleans, with all the mystique/culture on display.
He was a role model and we all looked up to him! When we had God in the equation, we prospered.....
THE definitive portrayal of Doc Holliday.
Hey, folks. Check this out: when Reagan was doing TV, one of those episodes starred none other than James Dean!! I think you can find it on RUclips.
Cool 😎 🎉❤
