Just wanna say that this is my favorite video on all of RUclips. Thomas Newman was already my favorite composer, but this, coupled with the beautiful imagery, only solidifies it further. I've continued to come back to it over the course of several months, possibly longer, and it always calms me and brings a smile to my face. Thanks for uploading this.
Thank you so much. It actually might be my favorite of my videos I’ve put together. Newman is my favorite composer as well and I *think* The Green Mile is my favorite soundtrack of all time. I have lived in Tennessee my whole life and my heart is in rural, country parts of it like in this video. There’s no composer I’ve ever heard that seems to capture what I feel towards a hot “summer morning” in the south at sunrise. This particular track (as well as much of Shawshank Redemption) seem to draw out my heart’s love of this kind of countryside. Thanks for watching.
@@mikeisi You're very, very welcome. Nice to meet a fellow Newman fan. Heheh. The soundtrack for "The Green Mile" is, indeed, quite beautiful, and I've grown more of a fondness for it since your video. You live in a gorgeous area, and I find it a great kindness that you've chosen to share some of that beauty with us. Have a wonderful day! :)
This is incredibaly beautifull... You should do more videos like this for peopl who can walk, travel or go on vacation... it feels like a short breath of relife and carefree moment.. Along with Thomas Newmans music this is just wonderfull.. thanks for sharing
If I may add it reminds me of Indiana - the beautiful trees and fields, birds tweeting, spring peeper frogs in the Spring. My parents bought a house with a wooded acre filed with birds and wildlife. And several lots over, there was a real wet land area/swamp that had frogs, tadpoles, snakes, and dragon flies. In the spring the spring peepers would scream their heads off when I walked down the street back from high school. Some developer bought up all of the land and built horrible doubles back there and everyone except my parents sold off 1/2 of their acre. But right up until mom and daddy passed away the yard was like going into a park and I adored it. The house was built in 1912 and I certainly didn't care as a child that I was living in an older house and not a new brick ranch style house and split level like so many couples bought back then. The yard meant everything to me and there was a spirituality to it, a presence. I miss it very much since I had to sell the house.
Fantastically scenic! Great video, Mike. I know a lot goes into getting shots like that, preparation and post production, equipment and timing. That kind of landscape at that time of day for me is like Happy Place! Haha.
dont go to Tennessee just to have this, i mean, you can find alot of places like this in TN, but if you want somewhere beautiful, go to downtown Chatt. just dont go to the east side of that place though.
What an absolute beautiful video with such calming music.
Thank you.
@@simonmcconville4582 thank you.
This scenery, plus the soundtrack from the green mile, I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed anything more perfect 👍
Amazing 💕

this is absolutely unreal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This such a fantastic piece very peaceful and sad but that was the gift John Coffey gave the Tom Hanks character in the film the gift of life
Reminds me of why I fell in love with Tennessee.
Amazing man :) I just love the flying through the trees at the beginning
Edited: This could be a great opening scene for a wonderful film
Thank you!
