My rage at Isuzu over the state of our front tyres cannot be stated with words in a comment.

My 2021 bt50 has done 35k and no problems rotate every 10k it has 2inch lift and AT tyres I do a lot off off road driving and long country roads must be a lot of bad wheel alignments out there.

People making it sound like a bigger issue than it actually is, I've got 2" lift and 33s wheels, stock uca and knuckle. Tyres look brand new after 7000kms

Thanks for your video. I bought my bt50 in February 2022. The first issue was the factory towbar I optioned. It points downward at around 70 degrees to avoid the ridiculous plastic bumper fitted on a tray back. On a 4WD this is absurd. I had to argue with my dealer for weeks before they finally relented and refunded me. They threatened to remove the towbar wiring! I bought a more expensive TAG towbar which is great. There was another argument regarding the spare wheel which was a steel rim not matching the 4 alloys. This may explain why they didn’t rotate the spare previously! I have been unwell on and off since I bought the bt50 so at my second compulsory service last month, 30000k, I had done only 19000k. My dealer didn’t rotate the 4 tyres because they were stuffed. I have not done an off-road trip yet, so bump stop definitely happens on the tar! They were pathetic OEM tyres anyhow Dunlop grandtrek 25, supposedly AT. That is a joke! The driver assist has tried its best to kill me several times. Presumably, so that I can’t bear witness against Mazda. I replaced the factory suspension because it sagged with a hand mower on the tray! The glossy sales brochures specify a payload of 1070kg for my freestyle cab. When I fitted my winch, Ironman’s salesman warned me not to wreck my plastic grille because Mazda charge $2500 for a new one! From new, the Ute has a balance/vibration issue in the drivetrain, (probably tailshaft). Of course they gaslighted me about this. It was my fault for installing practical, 2” lifted heavy duty suspension, despite the issue being present from new. Which brings me to the subject of this video. I was at fulcrum yesterday installing the super pro upper control arms. They improved my toe-in fourfold. But the mechanic told me that my 5 gorgeous new LT AT tyres (approximately $2000) were going to wear prematurely because of the factory steering knuckle. He offered to supply the fulcrum corrected knuckle for $1800. Obviously, the geometry must be corrected, but why shouldn’t Mazda have to retrofit their new 2014 factory part, or pay fulcrum to fit theirs? Fulcrum mechanic said this chassis is used by some dmax, bt50 and ford ranger. Apparently this fault has been corrected in 2024 models? Anybody organising a class action against these Isuzu ford Mazda factory giants?
Following all of my after-market upgrades this is a very capable tourer. We’re talking a lot of money here. No thanks go to Mazda though! Unmodified, It certainly can’t sustainably, nor practically, do what is claimed in the brochure. Presumably, these car giants care not about trashing the environment by replacing tyres at a ridiculous rate. When you do modify it, making it sustainable and useful, your dealer gaslights you for evermore.
