Thanks for this amazing review. Purchased!!
Glad it was helpful!
Such a great breakdown of the EW-D! Thank you for making this really well produced video!
@@LeisuretecDistribution You’re welcome! I ended up purchasing the unit and I can’t wait to test it out more!
Great video. I couldn't understand if this microphone does a scan of the frequencies that don't have interference, just like I do on the G4 (in Scan New List). Thanks
Good video
Great information, does the EWD come with both the body pack and the hand held ..which capsule is best for preaching in a church
ou didn't go over the power buttons at the bm the mic
Can you hook up two transmitters to one device, IE have two guitars hooked up and if one guitar breaks a string switch to your other guitar with the other transmitter?
Hi,
You can! You just need to make sure that when you switch to the next guitar you turn off the transmitter on the first guitar, if both transmitters are turned on and connected to one reciever you'll run into a few problems!
Any different with EW-DX? I can not find review comparing EW-D with EW-DX aside from transmitter
Sennheiser have a great comparison chart on their channel: ruclips.net/video/E1CKgCbr_qY/видео.html
Keep you eyes peeled for our video coming soon... 👀
I could net not get 2 lavs with 2 different receivers on 2 different t channels to work together last wedding. The second receiver kept flashing orange and the app said it was clipping. I tried to adjust the gain manually but I thought a feature of this system was that it adjusts the gain automatically? Either way had to shut second mic down.
Interesting. I own the handheld set. It’s been 5 months since your comment perhaps you’ve had better luck since?
The EW-D does not auto adjust gain rather it eliminates the need for a sensitivity adjustment like previous wireless. Gain does have to be adjusted on app or receiver. Also be sure when scanning to have other devices off or it won’t pick them up later when syncing.
My process: power receiver, scan, pair transmitter, power on transmitter, sync, repeat. If the transmitter is on in scan the receiver will see it only as a used RF channel.
Hope this helps!
@@MikeyC0117 can you give a bit more detail as reading your comment is very confusing.
How are you pairing a unit that is "off"
And is pairing not the same as syncing?
Sennheiser sayes to power on both the receiver and transmitter before you scan, also they say to have all other wireless devices ON when scanning in order to avoid those frequencies.
Help.
Thank you?
Question:
Can I connect the Sennheiser EW-D EM Q1-6 with the Sennheiser EW-DP SKP Q1-6?
Use: musician on stage, for my usual microphone
You can! As long as they are both on the same frequency!
@@LeisuretecDistribution All right, thanks a lot :)
Can this EW-D receiver link to two EW-D SKM-S transmitters for using 2 microphones at the same time?
Hi, the EW-D is a single receiver, so only one transmitter can be connected at one time. If you want to connect two transmitters at once then you'll be looking at the Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2. We also have a video on the EW-DX systems on our channel!
Just a question with this can you use the hand-held transmitter with out the body pack and second thing can you use two hand-held transmitters on one receiver without the body packs thanks heaps
Hi, Yes you can use the handheld transmitters without the body packs. The EW-D receivers are all single channel, if you wanted to connect two handheld transmitters to one system we're recommend the Sennheiser EW-DX systems which can be dual or quad channel receivers. Hope this helps!
@@LeisuretecDistribution Thanks for this video. I'm sure you've answered this but I cant seem to get confirmation on this question so your help will be appreciated. Can I use the headmic (body pack) at the same time as the handheld?
@@RichardJonesMagic Hi Richard,
Unfortunatly you wouldn't be able to use both at the same time with an EW-D system, for this you would need an EW-DX 2-Channel system.
Ah ok thank you. that's the confirmation i needed, thanks so much for taking the time to help out. @@LeisuretecDistribution
