Why is this character called Cicada, when in scenes of the season 5 “The Flash” it made sense with that respirator he wore. So during the comics conception of the Character and his powers why name him after a bug with his lightening based powers and life stealing powers. The only reason I can see why they would call him is due to his longevity of his immortality? Like how they compared Pennywise the Dancing Clown to Cicadas due to his dormant 27 year hibernation cycle before he would wake up again.

One of these days the Hero is going to say "You want my power? Than take it" and try to overload the Villain only to find out that the villain can actually handle the amount of energy coming in.
I want to see that comic. The one where the Hero mistakenly jacks up the Villain beyond anything the Hero can handle just because he was so arrogant that his power would be too much for the Villain.

I liked season 4...season 3 on the other hand started nice, then once Alchemy turned back to Malfoy the show just went into a huge lull up until Savitar was revealed to be Barry.
The guy who plays Walter White would be perfect as Bearded Cicada but it'll never happen now.

They have changed every villain except reverse flash it's not really much
It was originally supposed to be David Hersch, but XS's traveling back in time cause the lightning that turning him into Cicada to strike someone else in his place creating a different Cicada. So yeah you can blame this change on Barry's daughter.
