Not the announcements because they randomly turned off for me, but when you select the destination, it shows the sentence on the screen in the train

The "the next stop" announcement plays before your train gets in the station. But if you're talking about the "doors closing" one you need to toggle it via the right side TMS inside the cab, not the GUI due to it not working.

There's this thing called "CSDE", it stands for Correct Side Door Enable. When you arrive at a station, stop exactly at the black dot on the tracks and your CSDE will be left or right.
