- Between 1979 and 1984, Stephen King tried to prove himself in the most spectacular way possible. As he could not be sure whether the publishing success obtained with his first three novels was due to a matter of luck or talent, he asked the people at his publishing house if the idea of publishing his next work under a pseudonym was feasible and there was born. his darker alter ego: Richard Bachman. We review his origin and the 7 novels he wrote under that pseudonym. Accompany them to the darker and more realistic side of Stephen King.
