Dimash is an incredible live singer - I saw him in concert in London two years ago, and he was absolutely mesmerising! He can do so many things with his voice that most singers wouldn’t be able even to attempt .. True, but it's also about the venue. He performs in the Kremlin here. You're supposed to act accordingly. They literally warn people there oftentimes that they need to be more reserved since it's televised. When it's a stadium where fans can stand in front of the stage and not a place where everyone is seated it's a whole different vibe.

I've been to his concerts. This is really what he sounds like live. This is in the Kremlin, which is quite stiff upper lip, and Russian audiences are a little reserved. They do appreciate it even though it doesn't look like it and he knows the audiences in different countries.

It was not a solo concert but a preformance of 1 or 2 songs I do not remember. The scene was intended to accompany a russian high fashion show I believe. So there was a bit of a special guest audience, maybe jaded, I don't know. But as you've seen, there were Dears that just didn't slip in there and, quite simply, covered it with flowers. It's live but it has been compressed through post production for the television show so it sounds "too" perfect, if you know what I mean. There is a fan cam recording of this same performance where you can hear that rawness that makes him sound even better. I got to see him live last year in New York and it was the greatest (and fastest) 3 hours of my life. It was not a solo concert but a preformance of 1 or 2 songs I do not remember. The scene was intended to accompany a russian high fashion show I believe. It's live but it has been compressed through post production for the television show so it sounds "too" perfect, if you know what I mean. There is a fan cam recording of this same performance where you can hear that rawness that makes him sound even better. I got to see him live last year in New York and it was the greatest (and fastest) 3 hours of my life.
