Popera! That’s his style. That last belt lasted 22 seconds. This performance was at The New Wave in Russia. He got invited by Maestro Igor Krutoy whom by the way he later sung and won the Song of the year with The love of tired swans 🦢 The show is live and Igor is the gentleman who gives him a standing ovation on first row.

The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental Arab technique (or traditional qazaq singing, called Joqtaw), is a funeral lament, paying homage to the dead vocalist: Brilliant! The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio. The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebyev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash. I'm sorry for my bad English!

One of the effects of those who listen to Dimash is to react genuinely like you. He is a very humble and simple boy, but at the same time he is a perfectionist and if at this moment he leaves us stunned with his talent, imagine after time the level that he will reach. I also suggest the video soundtrack of the movie Creators: The Past, Across Endless Dimensions, your imagination will fly and with a superb ending.

    😁😁😁
It is interesting to watch the teachers' reactions on vocals: - "Well, hooo... ...everything is clear... ...here's a falsetto, here's a bass, here's a baritone, here he made a vibrato, and then fading with a prebreath, here's a head voice, here chest, and here is a mix - so everything is clear to us ... ... the only thing is not clear - how the hell does he do all this ... "
... It is very similar to the joke about the "Field of Miracles" - "I guessed all the letters, but I could not name the word ...")))😁😁😁

Don't like watching channels where they talk over Dimash when he is singing, don't mind if they stop the song to speak. I have a special cord that connects my laptop to my flat screen 42 inch television and the sound comes through it then. Baigali Serkebaev - the author of the song - plays the piano here.
It was a phenomenal performance! Superb low notes at the beginning, unreal high notes at the end. And again the oriental tones in the song!
Melismа in the finale together with the last "Let" - 23 seconds!

I love almost all Dimash's songs, i understand only his english songs. Hello and Adagio is my favourite btw, the rest of his songs is composed of several non-english songs, but from listening to Dimash K. i now clearly see the power of music, the music itself is an Universal language and to be honest i have no clue what other music, artists or songs are popular and i didn't need to know. 😆😆
SOS(French), Autumn Strong(Mandarin) and Greshnaya strast (Russian) are my top 3, none of them English, which clearly proved to me that, you dont need to know what the story is, Dimash's stage Presence and his emotions during his performance some how explains what the story of the song is about.

How? No remark about Dimash's 20-sec vocalize on 1 breath? I mean, in the opera world that's something, and most often done on 1 long, quiet note.
Thank you for this reaction and for inviting your friend. I love how your comments complimented each other - it would be great if you made more Dimash-reactions, and if sometimes you invite a friend, I'll certainly watch it!

You two young ladies are adorable. If you look over to the right on your computer screen, you will see a long thumbnail list of "Voice Teacher or Vocal Coach Reacts to Dimash..." and if you were to click on any or all of them, you would see reactions similar to your own (and mine) upon hearing this young man sing. I sang for a living for almost 30 years but after listening to Dimash, I have come to the realization that my definition of "singing" has to be altered drastically. Until 3 days ago, my experience with truly great vocalists was limited to people like Mariah Carey with that whistle register she has conquered, Pavarotti, the King Of The High C's, Adam Lambert, a contestant on the show "American Idol" who did not win but went on to become the lead singer for the band Queen after its lead singer, Freddy Mercury passed away, and many more. We used to watch that show (Idol) just to hear him sing and we were always amazed at his range. That was then. This...is now. And this is quite unlike anything I have ever heard in my life. For that, I am grateful that I was able to hear all these songs by him because voices like this are, well, how many people are on this planet? 7 billion, right? So his voice is likely to be one-in-a-billion. And watching you pause and comment is so much fun because, like everyone else that hears him for the first time, he leaves you "speechless". You start questioning your own ears or at least I did. I was actually watching him very closely to see if he was using some sort of 'trickery' to reach those high notes but after doing all my research, I'm just left baffled but astonished. In a good way. He is remarkable and I still can't get over the fact that he has been around since 2017 and I have never heard anything about him until right now, end of January, 2020. But keep up the good work that you do and I wish you both much success.

He's 25, and he's 6'3" tall. He was born with absolute pitch, and he began his voice studies when he was 5. His mother is a popular opera singer and his father produces and directs. You often will see his father, watching proudly in the audience.

Wow you both are gorgeous. I still remember a lot of teachers warning me to never sing airy cause it's a sign of bad technique. I am glad to watch someone execute it flawlessly without any bad critic. Not sure what else to say, if he goes the right path we might be witnessing one of the singer of all time. I recently watch Love is like a dream, I strongly suggest it Linor.

I would love him to be from my country- Azerbaijan, but I am proud of Dimash!!!. He is the greatest signer of 21st century. His 2nd name means Given by God - so hi is given by God! Regarding album and how it would sound if one song has so many artistic elements - it sounds great and believe me every other song is unique and you cannot help listening! Thanks for your reactions!
