I stopped at that antique store at Covington, IN last month and she gave me the same story about losing her knives to thief. I did purchase a tool that she had so not a total loss. Good haul you all got yesterday.

You stole that Whaler! The "R" stands for the bale. SH is sheepfoot. Nice Zippo! Hopefully the Black Beauty is worth about $60 or more. Both good finds but the Mil-K are way over priced these days. Your Victorinox is a Climber. (You probably know that by now!) Really nice gift you're giving to Tom. You're 100% right. He deserves it! Nice chickens in the background
Thanks for the info on the Whaler!! We had a blast hunting down blades again!! These Vicrorinox blades i just clean up and give away, there are just too many different names and model #'s for me to keep up with!! Thanks for assisting on the info and checking out the video!!
spray WD 40 in that SAK and let it sit for a few hours and it will break down all the gumminess in it and then just run warm water and soap through it and dry it off and put it in the sun to fully dry and then lube the pivots and it will be as good as new. No worry about water or rusting with SAK's and they always clean up great. A little Flitz on the blades and scales and it will really shine
I did that l, let it sit for 12 hrs after spraying with wd40, whatever is in there isn’t breaking down. I got it just chilling in mineral oil till I can spend time on it. The blades are like new and I know it won’t rust so I just gotta get that crap in pivots to break down.
@@bigjsknives Goo Gone or Goof Off is what I use if it is something super gummy or has hardened in the pivots. Cheap lubes that people have used on knives can set up like tar after years of sitting and then can turn hard. Goo Gone works pretty good
