i know this might be a stupid question (im new to ALL of this) but my work is using a RFid 125 khz cards HID prox.... can i still use these magic cards? i was able to copy my work card onto my flipper but i would love to be able to clone since they charge $40.00 if you lose your card.
I cant say if your card can be read. You can check the documentation. I also put a link in the description start there. If the flipper cant read the card then you cant write it. So just look into if the flipper can read the card. :)
@@secbydaniel thank you for replying. i will take a look. but just to clarify, i already have my work card saved onto my flipper, i just dont really get which magic card is compatible with 125 RFID to cpy .
If it is part of the corporate 1000 system where your card is actually using HID prox 2 my understanding is that it uses 2 codes , the normal hex codes but also another code indentifer for said certain facility. My work for example uses 35bit hid prox (corporate 1000) and flipper I believe can only do 26bit.. while I can still capture and emulate my id card and works fine.. I can’t seem to rewrite my card as it’s protected and can only be changed by the person at the main office..or it is because of the above mention of it only being 26 bit trying to write 35 bit data. However if you buy blanks 26bit or if you can find 35bit hid prox 2 cards theres a chance that not only will you be able to write the data to that blank but even the scanner has a decent chance that it might also accept that different card or “cards” as ling as its hid prox .
When I tried this on my magic card, I get the error "This is the wrong card. Writing this file is not supported for this magic card". My Magic card was properly detected as a Classic Gen 1A/B. Perhaps the cards I bought do not support changeable UID?
@@secbydaniel Thanks for responding. Ok how do you change the UID for the magic card before writing? Because what you are writing (has the original UID) must match to magic card UID in order to be successfull. Do you manually change UID on magic card first before writing from original source card? If so, I could not find out to change UID on magic card
@@mcfly7765 You need to have the card with re-writteable block 0. The link to those cards is in the description. The flipper through NFC Magic can detect the card and if it does it will tell you with success it can read it. Here I mean the blank card. Then you just write it. Thats it.
Crazy question but im new to this. So technically i can read a card with the flipper zero, write the information to a "blank card/white card" and if i put that card into an atm i can withdraw money? without any pin or something? (asking the question to stay safe and not get my information stolen)
this might sound dumb but a normal Rfid card would not work, correct? only reason i ask is bc the outside of my building and my door lock are all a single key fob.. i scanned the rfid and it unlocks the outside but the interior is apparently NFC.. Just trying to understand. If i did get an NFC card would it unlock the exterior RFID lock as well?
Thanks for the video! Do you know if there is a difference between buying a GEN 1 card vs a GEN 3 card? Will the flipper be able to read/write smoothly in both?
Flipper Zero: Clone NFC Card

@@secbydaniel NVM just read it in the Doc, thank you so much !
@@mattcurcic5585 Yea so you can also see which cards are supported. But it sounds like that you will have success :)

No, you cannot withdraw money.

I believe the answer is no. But don’t quote me on it. I know they use diffenrt chips.
Where do I find track 1 and track 2 info ??
On The Card Magstrip
You need different machine since it does not produces waves that Flipper can read
for $200 you could have gotten a flipper zero and cloned the key yourself
Thanks for the video!

Can this close encypter 3.25mhz?
So theoretically you can clone a credit card with this method
@@Neisan07 only the way that I mentioned in one of my other videos. You cannot fully clone a credit card not the CC number
Спасибо! Всё получилось.
