I imagine she was actually named Toy Foxy before he got mangled, and became, well, Mangle. It would make no sense to have an animatronic named Funtime Foxy among Toy Freddy, Toy Chica, and Toy Bonnie. I don't take much of any lore from FNAF world. Anyway, I'm sort of stuck between 1 and 4.
Well, FNaF World also spoiled that canon Fredbear was a FNaF Freddy recolor before UCN came, so, there are some canon thing there. And, yes, it doesn't make sense for the Toy version of Foxy to be randomly called Funtime Foxy, but there it is, it's just like that. Also, thanks to UCN, we also know that FNaF World is actually canon, but not in the main storyline.
My favorite is the fourth one but the most accurate is probably the third one because we know what Mango's tail looks like in Five Nights at Freddy's VR and it appears to be a Bobtail
The first render made by the maronettist makes more sence to me that thats how mangle used to look like cause it also represents toy chicas animatronic now that they are both feemale animatronics and it makes lots of sence
We can't forget the non-accurate mangle, the splinx (correct me if that's not how you spell it) model. If you wanna know what she looks like her belly fur is a heart on her chest with the bow behind her neck & her body was basically toy chicas model but with (i think) different feet
In the fnaf official character encyclopedia all foxy characters are referred to as male (accept for Roxy) and in response to a fnaf wiki mod Scott said characters are either male or female. Which means William afton but made a bunch of femboy foxys and fazbear entertainment just let it happen XD

Foxy has always had an interesting relationship with gender, with the classic "Foxy the Pirate Fox" versions being male, while some like the Mangle and Funtime Foxy have ambiguous genders, and the most recent example Roxanne Wolf (clearly still supposed to be a variant of Foxy considering Wolves and Foxes are very similar and her name is often shortened to Roxy) is female. it's interesting how versatile Foxy is within the FNaF series since they probably have the most unique variants out of any animatronic, not including Special Delivery

Mangle hasn't been confirmed a gender, with Scott referring to the mangle as: he, she, it, they, and "the mangle" including in game references in fnaf two when the phone guy tells you about her. Technically, he is just about all of them. I tend to refer to it as mostly "he/him, she/her, and sometimes "it" as the creator (again, Scott cawthon) has called her all of those, and has also stated specifically that he "doesn't want to get into that"
Bottom left is the most accurate solely due to the design of the tail. Mangle's tail is small and round not long like an actual fox's. But if I'm going based on how good they look, I really like the second one.
Mangle's tail is broken/missing. Makes more sense for her to have a fox tail when she was complete, like in FNAF world. Or this or she is The Fantastic Mr. Fox 🤣🤣
I wonder if for the other fan made ones, the ball part of mangle could just be her knee joint just stuck back together on another point on her by the kids. Just an idea.
My personal favorites are all versions of Foxy.- Lolbit, Funtime Foxy, Mangle: (toy Foxy, but kids can’t keep their hands to themselves, though.) Grim Foxy, radioactive Foxy, Captain Foxy, Rockstar Foxy, etc. But figuring that kids of other types can be so rude is just so disappointing, and sad, it’s just cruelty and makes me upset. I feel bad for Mangle. Just knowing the definition of “Mangle” lets me know that Mangle has been through so much torture caused by kids, I think that Mangle just became mentally unstable because of kids. That’s my theory of “The Bite of ‘87.”
Compare the security breach merch to the real glamrocks and you'll see its not that accurate just enough accuracy for mangle to look like any of the mangle versions made by fans
the 1st one looks more like an animatronic. It has a animatronic like pose like it should have. unlike the others that have a more human-like and smooth pose. so i like the first one because it makes more sense as an animatronic.
#3 is probably the most accurate cuz of the tail. Mangle had a round tail as shown in the beginning and #3 also has a round tail. But i personally like #2 it just feels like what Toy Foxy would look like unwithered.
I'd say its more likely mangle was called Toy Foxy, and scott just called them funtime foxy either to avoid of confusion over why this animatronic didnt appear in FNAF 2 (it was a very different time in the FNAF community mind you, we were very dumb) or to tease FNAF sister location (he said he already had a color sceme picked out for a fifth game before it was even sure he'd make one.)
If you look at the figure you will see that they have a long tail, but if you look at Mangles actual tail, then you would see that she has a round tail. That is because the figure is based off the fnaf world design

The mangle was a fusion of two characters, toy foxy, and some other bear character with yellow eyes that we know is a bear because yendo from SL (originally a reference to the mangle head) is a bear
The one in the bottom left has the same tail as the FNAF AR version, and it looks pretty similar to FNAF 2s. While the design has changed, as I said, the one in the bottom left is my favorite. Still wondering why she has a second head. Maybe that’s her endo head?
There is no second Funtime Foxy in FNAF. In FNAF 2, there's Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, and Toy Chica. So it's obvious that mangle's real name is "Toy Foxy". There is no if or but about it. Mangle is Toy Foxy, confirmed.
Ok to everyone the reason mangle has an endo is because he had another endo inside of her and that kind of can be ezplained cuz the endo has an eye on the left and mangle on the right
The real question is how the hell do children manage to break this thing? Do the maintenance staff just leave their tools laying around or something? Because there is literally no way a bunch of children can just casually tear mangle apart like they're the doom slayer and casually put mangle back together again like lego peices, also mangle's gender is both male and female since they have two endo-skeleton heads
Explanation: So Funtime foxy was apparently picked on by children when she was greeting them. So she lost her parts. But.. Funtime foxy is similar to The Mangle. Sky Funtime foxy was Mangle. I necessarily thought that they were the same person. But since Funtime foxy is pink and white.. and mangle the same colors. But the thing I didn’t understand is that face.. the other face on mangle. That’s either the face spring locks.. or just extras?
The fact when she/he was a normal animatronic. She used to be get destroyed by those children and put a third leg on her/him. And they seriously took her/his one eye and put it on the other endo head i think. And yes on her normal animatronic she/he doesn't have a hook.

It is assumed that it is the tail but it could be something like the ball joints or smth. Plus, original Mangle's model didn't have a tail to begin with.

I would say the first model it looks like a perfect character that would be a good role model for kids since she looks very caring since she is skinny but with the other designs they look like a threat in my opinion

I always thought the endoskeleton head was mangles Head. I always thought her Outer shell and endoskeleton was separated. I even had a proof since the missing eyes in both heads Connect like a puzzle. Later looking back i was definitely wrong but hey atleast my childish brain had a theory
I'd say number one would be an accurate design as I believe mangle was "supposed" to be a female animatronic to reason it out between tbonnie(male), tfreddy(male) and tchica(female) especially with the color scheme considering she looks nothing colorwise like foxy.

SMP73 actually has the most accurate design for funtime foxy. funtime foxy in fnaf world has a tail, but mangle has only ever been seen with a little ball for a tail.
one thing I’ve always wondered is the fact that kids tore mangle to make them into what they are now. 1: there’s no ways kids are that strong to rip up a robotic limb unless the toys were cheaply made. 2: would the kids get cut by mangoes hook? 3: why did they go after mangle specifically why didn’t they attack toy freddy or toy bonnie or toy chica or balloon boy or charlotte? 4: why didn’t they give them a spare endo for them to take apart instead of mangle isn’t there a bare endo skeleton that appears when charlotte comes out of her box?
The only one I can answer with confidence is 3, because Toy Foxy was explicitly put in Kid's Cove "to entertain the toddlers", not a performer like the others. Very small children would be able to touch Foxy directly instead of having to climb up on stage or get close to a walking animatronic without their parents paying attention. For 1, yeah I always just assumed the endos were cheap as heck. It makes literally no sense, but it's Fazbear. For 4, actually maybe the kids messed with those too? Mangle has 2 endo heads and at least 3 hands, suggesting there's at least one other endo tossed into the metal spaghetti. Still doesn't explain why the staff let the kids wreck Foxy.

Well, in the Fourth Closet Graphic Novel, you can see a mouth of the endo still in Mangle’s mouth, and Mangle has another endo head too, so she probably had a pet.

Mangle hasn't been confirmed a gender, with Scott referring to the mangle as: he, she, it, they, and "the mangle" including in game references in fnaf two when the phone guy tells you about her. Technically, he is just about all of them. I tend to refer to it as mostly "he/him, she/her, and sometimes "it" as the creator (again, Scott cawthon) has called her all of those, and has also stated specifically that he "doesn't want to get into that"

Bottom left is the most accurate solely due to the design of the tail. Mangle's tail is small and round not long like an actual fox's. But if I'm going based on how good they look, I really like the second one.

My personal favorites are all versions of Foxy.- Lolbit, Funtime Foxy, Mangle: (toy Foxy, but kids can’t keep their hands to themselves, though.) Grim Foxy, radioactive Foxy, Captain Foxy, Rockstar Foxy, etc. But figuring that kids of other types can be so rude is just so disappointing, and sad, it’s just cruelty and makes me upset. I feel bad for Mangle. Just knowing the definition of “Mangle” lets me know that Mangle has been through so much torture caused by kids, I think that Mangle just became mentally unstable because of kids. That’s my theory of “The Bite of ‘87.”
I love that the presence of a cotton tail in the mangle’s design implies that some dumb kid ripped off toy Bonnie’s tail and he had to get it replaced

The second head is her jaw and inside face hence the voice box messed up, witch is just the side effect of that.
Those designs both have a hook but Mangle in FNAF 2 has a right hand that is fully intact instead of a hook…

Mangle is my fav fnaf character because of the second head bit like most of the endo is showing its just creepy.
#3 is probably the most accurate cuz of the tail. Mangle had a round tail as shown in the beginning and #3 also has a round tail. But i personally like #2 it just feels like what Toy Foxy would look like unwithered.

I'd say its more likely mangle was called Toy Foxy, and scott just called them funtime foxy either to avoid of confusion over why this animatronic didnt appear in FNAF 2 (it was a very different time in the FNAF community mind you, we were very dumb) or to tease FNAF sister location (he said he already had a color sceme picked out for a fifth game before it was even sure he'd make one.)
Everyone assumed it was a fixed version of Mangle inmediately, so no, not naming it Toy Foxy would be more confusing if it was for that reason.
Mangle and Toy Bonnie are two of my favorite animatronics in the whole series

We’re gotten an action figure of it, if you look up Funtime foxy action figure it shows up.
If you look at the figure you will see that they have a long tail, but if you look at Mangles actual tail, then you would see that she has a round tail. That is because the figure is based off the fnaf world design

The mangle was a fusion of two characters, toy foxy, and some other bear character with yellow eyes that we know is a bear because yendo from SL (originally a reference to the mangle head) is a bear

The one in the bottom left has the same tail as the FNAF AR version, and it looks pretty similar to FNAF 2s. While the design has changed, as I said, the one in the bottom left is my favorite. Still wondering why she has a second head. Maybe that’s her endo head?
I think the fist one of the mangle ORIGINAL and full body design is what they actually look like. It’s a really good design on my opinion

Explanation: So Funtime foxy was apparently picked on by children when she was greeting them. So she lost her parts. But.. Funtime foxy is similar to The Mangle. Sky Funtime foxy was Mangle. I necessarily thought that they were the same person. But since Funtime foxy is pink and white.. and mangle the same colors. But the thing I didn’t understand is that face.. the other face on mangle. That’s either the face spring locks.. or just extras?
The fact when she/he was a normal animatronic. She used to be get destroyed by those children and put a third leg on her/him. And they seriously took her/his one eye and put it on the other endo head i think. And yes on her normal animatronic she/he doesn't have a hook.
Fun fact: they got a white poodle tail and a pinky furball attached to it as a tail

Plus, original Mangle's model didn't have a tail to begin with.
in FNaF2 they have a little white bunny-like tail which i assumed was a joint (like the arms or legs ball joints) for a full fox tail

I'd say number one would be an accurate design as I believe mangle was "supposed" to be a female animatronic to reason it out between tbonnie(male), tfreddy(male) and tchica(female) especially with the color scheme considering she looks nothing colorwise like foxy.

SMP73 actually has the most accurate design for funtime foxy. funtime foxy in fnaf world has a tail, but mangle has only ever been seen with a little ball for a tail.
At the part where you saw toy fun time, foxy of the poses, my favorite was the third One
one thing I’ve always wondered is the fact that kids tore mangle to make them into what they are now.
1: there’s no ways kids are that strong to rip up a robotic limb unless the toys were cheaply made.
2: would the kids get cut by mangoes hook?
3: why did they go after mangle specifically why didn’t they attack toy freddy or toy bonnie or toy chica or balloon boy or charlotte?
4: why didn’t they give them a spare endo for them to take apart instead of mangle isn’t there a bare endo skeleton that appears when charlotte comes out of her box?
The only one I can answer with confidence is 3, because Toy Foxy was explicitly put in Kid's Cove "to entertain the toddlers", not a performer like the others. Very small children would be able to touch Foxy directly instead of having to climb up on stage or get close to a walking animatronic without their parents paying attention.
For 1, yeah I always just assumed the endos were cheap as heck. It makes literally no sense, but it's Fazbear.
For 4, actually maybe the kids messed with those too? Mangle has 2 endo heads and at least 3 hands, suggesting there's at least one other endo tossed into the metal spaghetti. Still doesn't explain why the staff let the kids wreck Foxy.

Well, in the Fourth Closet Graphic Novel, you can see a mouth of the endo still in Mangle’s mouth, and Mangle has another endo head too, so she probably had a pet.
