Awesome sir.
Thank you for watching!
Great looking fly m8. Have you ever used orange mohair yarn for this one???
Awesome little pattern!! Different way to tie up.love it.thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching! It works exceptionally well!
How are you sure that it is going to fish hook side up? The density of the resin that you put inside the hook is higher than the water and there are no inner wire wraps that can act as a ballast. In other words, you most likely shifted the center of gravity towards the gap of the hook. It is likely to rollover and fish hook side down (or the leg side up). If the current is strong, it may not matter to the fish that may think the shrimp lost the control, but in little still-ish water it may look awkward to the fish. Also, no need to close the gap of the hook.
Jon put years of design and testing into this pattern prior to its acceptance for commercial production by Umpqua Feather Merchants. The slotted tungsten bead is what makes the fly ride hook point up.
Awesome video! Keep sharing
Thank you! Will do!
Great pattern ! This bug would work great in high elevation lakes for goldens 👍🏼
It definitely does! It’s a great stillwater fly as well!
Sorry but have you ever looked at how many scuds there are.
