EP5: Exploring Nogales. Immigrants, Cartels, and Mexican politics. Oh yeah, and drug tunnels! Part 2

We continue our walk with Claudia through Nogales as she tells us more about local history, including the turbulent period when the cartels were fighting intensely over turf following the implosion of the Sinaloa Cartel after El Chapo was arrested in 2016. Claudia tells us more about how life has changed in Nogales over the years and her fears that things are headed into a darker and more violent period. We end the walk at the Nogales migrant processing center before the migrants go to the area shelters to wait until it is possible to get to the border to claim asylum.
