  • Noah Kagan is a super bright dude.
    Like, ridiculously bright.
Not only was he #30 at Facebook and the Director of Marketing at Mint.com....
He's also the entrepreneur behind the wildly successful Sumo.com and AppSumo.
There's just one thing about Noah that I would change:
    His memory.
When Noah came to hang out in Tel Aviv, he told me that he'd been learning Hebrew for a year.
And in my opinion, he wasn't progressing nearly as fast as he could be.
That's why, in this video, I pinned him down for just twenty minutes...
(Because, for someone like Noah, even 20 minutes of his time is extremely, extremely valuable).
And in those 20 minutes, I showed Noah some basic fundamentals to mnemonic techniques.
In Essence, We Tripled His Memory & Learning Capacity - Just Like That
Throughout the video, I also explain how I'm doing what I'm doing, and how it all works.
    It's a fast-paced, to-the-point video, but it proves a few things.
This shit really works - even if you're extremely skeptical
You can learn to do this quickly and easily, and the results will be very dramatic
In just a short amount of time, these techniques will help you learn things that you've struggled with for years
So, I hope you guys will enjoy the video, and if you do, please Like, Share, and Subscribe!

Interesting Video. I've been taking the course, but seeing a person, who is already "super", that doesn't know these memory techniques, learn them, is humbling, and also is a good motivator for me. Cool Video!

Hey Jontathan! Do you use one huge massive memory palace for every noun you learn each language or a new palace for like a weeks worth of material? Do you think it would be as effective to just add these vocab words with associations to Anki or does the Memory palace have superiority to this?

I generally liked the vid, but the clicks were a decided irritation. Please do not repeat this effect.

Cool vid. How do you choose which words to learn? Do you have lists of the most frequent words?

Eddie Emmett There are frequency lists/dictionaries for most major languages. You can find some on the web, others in print -- sometimes rather expensive :(

In addition... there are more and more international tests for language ability. Some have very detailed standards for each level (e.g. Chinese HSK - the exact characters, words, and grammar are available online), others are a bit more general (e.g. CEFR - google it) A wonderful book is "Fluent Forever" by Gabriel Wyner - he gives a reasonable universal set of ~600. See also his website fluent-forever dot com, where you can find his professionally produced lists in some languages. (Levi interviewed him for his Becoming Superhuman series.)

"This kind of berry made me shit my pants last time"... Well, that statement almost had the same effect on ME..but for laughing. Oh believe me, JL, I created a vivid marker for that :-D
