Great update, you need to stay on top of Spider mites cause they will destroy a collection, beautiful buds at the beginning of the video, excited to see your blooms!

Hi Gabrielle! Fingers crossed for the cattleya!! I was going to ask the same as Rick about calcium. I recently started giving my plants calcium nitrate and magnesium sulphate fairly frequently and I see a large difference in my plants. First thing I noticed was lots of new roots. Also leaves are firmer on at least some of them. I took the advice that Rick L gives regarding calcium and it seems to make a huge difference. Even if on a couple of plants you could give a small amount of calcium-magnesium daily from say a watering can you would see a difference. I have had many phals with pitted leaves and have lost many that just seemed to dry up . I am giving them calcium now as I don’t think it is a pest problem. I think the pitting is from weak cell structure due to a lack of calcium. I will let you know how that goes. I really think it is well worth a try of really increasing calcium . Enjoyed your video. Looking forward to seeing vanda, cattleya and other blooms! Take care!!

Hi Beverly! Yeah, I've been giving calcium but only once a month so far. Today's watering day so I'm going to give it again today. The buds are starting to open now 😁
