What I use for mixing paint are the small, disposable, plastic, communion cups which are used in our church. After the service, I just hang around and collect the cups, take them home and rinse them out and let them dry. You can also turn them upside down and use the bottom as a palate for superglue. They work very well for me and are free.

Those condiment cups also come in handy for storing already finished parts. I build 1/72 and 1/350-400th scale so whatever fits in them goes there. I also have a tiny cup with a lid where I mix my acrilycs before painting. It's slightly larger than the airbrush cup so I get a little extra ready-use paint in case of need. And if not needed, it's not much of a loss anyway. Great video!

Hi Jef, nice video. I buy 2oz condiment cups, with air tight lids, 100 for about $8.00 on Amazon. I use them when for temporary storage of paint, and pigments. They also work great for storing tiny Photo Etch parts. I like to use the lids off Pringles cans for Super Glue. After drying, the Super Glue just pops off and you can use them over and over. See you next time.

Thanks Jeff, my wife likes to eat nuts and cheese snacks, I save those blisters too. Anything I can get my hands on. I'm a sloppy modeler!

My problem with these condiment cups is the embossed printing on the bottom. When I mix in the cup, the paint splatters all over the place. I would like to find a smooth bottom cup!... I use the 6 hole palette like you showed second!
