We are so small on this earth. And the earth is simply an atom in this universe. And yet we have our fears pay taxes and worry about unnecessary things
*10 Scientific Facts mentioned in the Quran* 1.Every living thing made up from water. Qur'an (21:30) 2.Pain receptors present in the skin. Qur'an (4:56) 3.Expansion of universe. Qur'an (51:47) 4.Big Bang(Birth of universe). Qur'an (21:30) 5.Iron not the Earth's metal. Qur'an (57:25) 6.Sky a protective ceiling. Qur'an (21:32) 7.Embryology of human. Qur'an 23(12:14) 8.The Sun rotates on its axis as it revolves around the galaxy. Qur'an (21:33) 9.Moon has reflected light from Sun. Qur'an 25(61:62) 10.Internal Waves in the Oceans. Qur'an (24:40) I ask a logical person that who could have mention these facts 1400 years ago? How could a man who lived in desert know? Only creator of universe can tell these facts to his Messanger. Which clearly proves that Quran is not any man made book but indeed it is a revelation from God almighty.
*Indeed your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then established Himself on the Throne. He makes the day and night overlap in rapid succession.* *He created the sun, the moon, and the stars-all subjected by His command. The creation and the command belong to Him ˹alone˺. Blessed is Allah-Lord of all worlds!* Qur'an (7:54)
Yes! there are very few atmospheric weather phenomena above the troposphere where airliners fly, so you will usually get clear unobstructed views of the sun/moon/stars flying above the clouds. Flying VFR on top is my favorite thing
I recall on my first longhaul to the UK in Aug/Sept 2006 and we were flying from HongKong to London(LHR) and past a T/storm in the night. I could not take a video unfortunately due to not being able to take cameras or video cameras onboard after the bombing in London the month before.
I flew over the Midwest during the break of dawn one day and saw a bunch of thunderclouds with flashes of lightning once every few seconds. I just heard a loud boom from a FedEx MD-11 while writing this comment...
He was on a heading of 059 so roughly northeast, passing waypoint NOSID, speed is mach .82 at an elevation of FL340 or 34,000ft. NOSID is north of the Bermuda triangle, pretty far out in the ocean east of North Carolina. Looks like a Boeing cockpit.
In future or Sci-fi maybe we can build houses that can be flown above the clouds during storms and floods. And brought back down after the water drains.
God almighty says Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth; the alternation of the day and the night; the ships that sail the sea for the benefit of humanity; the rain sent down by Allah from the skies, reviving the earth after its death; the scattering of all kinds of creatures throughout; the shifting of the winds; and the clouds drifting between the heavens and the earth-˹in all of this˺ are surely signs for people of understanding. Qur'an (2:164) The Quran shows clear signs that it's from God. When we see how nature works-like rain, plants growing, and our bodies functioning perfectly-it's hard to believe it's all by chance. Someone must have planned it. Allah created everything with purpose and perfection, from animals to our amazing bodies, showing His power and wisdom.

I pose this question to any rational mind: who could have imparted such insights centuries ago? How could a desert-dwelling individual have acquired such profound knowledge? It is apparent that only the Creator of the universe could have conveyed these truths to His messenger. This unequivocally establishes the Quran not as a product of human creation, but rather as a divine revelation from the Almighty God.

Above as is below, thunderstorms are beautiful.

Not so beautiful when you're in it.
This is hands down the most gorgeous and relaxing thing I have ever seen and I wish I went on for hours
Was a bit entrancing.
Beautiful from this view. An absolute nightmare on the surface of the water. And a death sentence for anyone unfortunate enough to fly into it.
@@captainotto I am here after reading about lt col William Rankin, they're seriously the eldritch level of nature's unfathomable forces
How can you be amazed after seeing that 💩
Loop it.
If you remember planes move at 200-500 miles an hour and that cloud is barely moving shows you the shear scale of sizes here.
Looks like a low topped thunderstorm under 30,000 feet. The ones in the tropics can push 50,000 and passenger jets cannot fly over those, just around.
Or through or under the storm. Unless it’s a microburst because I know those can be very dangerous for planes.
Is that the moonlight shining on top of the clouds like that while that thunderstorm is going? That is so cool!
Most probably

Wow, astonishing.
I wonder what these guys dream in their sleep seeing stuff like this on a regular basis.
absolutely amazing to see it from above, a perspective that most of us don't get to see
Can you imagine having a view like that for your job .

Pilots have the best view in house as long as the plane isn't crashing.
Intra-cloud lightning (or sheet lightning) is the most common form of lightning.
When this thunderstorm will become a potential tropical cyclone days after the pilot sees it
This is why i keep the window blind open at night

Insurance risk would be too high (no pun intended).
We would need to discover anti-gravity for something like that.

What was the altitude?
Those clouds with all the lightening probably covers over a 100 miles.
