Honestly not sure. Lately most of the Detective Conan reaction videos are making all the dark skinned ppl light skinned. I commented a few times and 2 channels said they forgot to change their skin but the others never replied. I think one channel continued making vids with a white skinned Genta even after I commented. And a few ppl make the skin colors so light, that the dark skinned characters look like they have peach skin, not dark. Sure u can make the skin colors pastel, but not to the point that dark skinned ppl actually look light skinned (Like in Zero's Tea Time, the anime's colors were lighter and Amuro's skin was lighter too, but still dark enough). But yeah, aside from ppl forgetting, it might also be whitewashing or changing their skin to fit to their gacha designs/aesthetics.
