I liked her too,but I think she was so against the fact that he had to use a gun that it ruined any chance at a future for them and that was the episode's point. She did love him though!
This one is probably discounted because Ben didn't love her to start with, but the worst attempted romance was The Countess. Gosh I hated her. However, the way Ben told her off was GOLDEN!!!!!!
Totally agree! However, I do think Melinda in The Lady from Baltimore might give Connie McKee a run for her money in this contest. However, the fact Melinda really doesn’t love Joe maybe disqualifies her from this contest.
I think what I feel for Melinda is kind of a sadness. Her mother was forcing Joe on her. She had such a crush on Adam.It was an inverted love triangle. Joe loves Melinda, but Melinda loves Adam, Adam doesn't love Melinda. But Adam didn't turn His cheek to her when she kissed him. If the mother had left things alone, something might have grown between Adam and Melinda. However Melinda probably wouldn't have met any of the Cartright men if mama hadn't taken her out there fortune hunting.
@@rebeccacisco9420 I agree with this take for the most part. I felt for her because of her mother. I don't think Adam really liked her like that though. I think he felt like she was just a little girl with a crush and thought she was too young for him. He seemed rather annoyed with her often in the episode.
I know I’m late to the game on this but I don’t really think Adam loved Laura. I think Ben said it best that Adam was in love with the idea of a family and another Ponderosa (I’m paraphrasing greatly).
The worst woman is the one in my brothers keeper. Never understand why he kissed the witch. When i hear her voice i get violent feelings about her. She is sooooo annoying. She was so out of his league.
I actually felt that way for a long time too mainly because she was pushing him to leave. I get some respect for her by the end because she tells him she realized he belongs on the Ponderosa. Thanks for watching!
I totally agree and I think looking back on it now the reason why I didn't use her was because Joe ended anything with her once he found out she was married and I wanted to stick with ones the boys tried to make it work with during the episode, if that makes any sense.
Adams women were the most beautiful. I like Regina and Adam pair the best. They seemed to have real attraction to each other

Hey late is great so long as you came by! I agree with that assessment. I feel like they never got along enough to love each other.
