How to Render Lard (a generational skill)

I grew up on a family farm, where processing hogs and rendering lard was a large annual event. I am thankful I had the opportunity to grow up with parents who greatly appreciated the land, the animals, and the food we produced. Follow along as I demonstrate how to render lard using leaf fat from mulefoot hogs that we raise here on our farm. I believe there are many benefits to cooking with animal fats; number one is flavor.
