Pure LOVE, simply mesmerizing, it takes me in a different dimension, or better, in my much deep dimension.

This piece is about the evolution of Daphne into a tree. Note the constant metamorphosis of pitch and timbre. This whole rendition is way too loud, but the piece is striking on its own regardless.

12:00 ah, there it is! Strong influence from Lontano (1967) by Ligeti, more harmonic focus and careful attention to development though!

My thesis was on lontano.Similarities are obvious, but not sure that it has more careful attention and attention to devopment. It's one of those well crafted Ligetian works that any composer familiar with with ligeti could knock out.probably get a first.

more than a nod to Ligeti, but has a merit nonetheless.
