She's got all the gutsiness of a dark-haired Janis Joplin. I LOVE this lady's voice!
Saw Nicki a year ago at Floydfest and have been checking out her videos ever since. She's very tuneful and simply, gets the music. If anything, the only thing that keeps her from super stardom is being able to really wail. Having said that, this is a great video showing that she really has the chops and knows her craft. This is just plain wonderful. The band's in a nice groove too.
