    Here's a continuation when it comes to the fighting itself and a more in-depth on how it goes, as to further explain why it feels so clunky and inconsistent.
    First, we need some context with how the gameplay works. Your hud shows yours and your opponent's health, stamina, stocks/rounds and perfect dodge (PD) bar. It also contains the countdown in the middle of course. You have a light attack (M1), heavy attack (M2), block and dodge input. Alongside that, you can cancel your attacks mid-startup (feinting) and you have an ult meter that fills up while fighting. Some styles also come with an ability bar that does whatever the style's description mentions. There's also a counter mechanic where hitting an opponent while they're in their attack animation deals some extra damage.
    When you throw an M1, it usually travels for a short duration, letting you hit multiple times (M1 chain) and will serve as any style's combo starter, and when you throw an M2, it usually travels for a longer duration and instead serves as a hard read punishment tool. Blocking serves as a way to mitigate the damage you receive when you're hit and can even be pulled while getting hit by an M1 chain. Dodging serves as another way to avoid damage and PDs serves more as a natural punishing tool if you can read the attack timing right. Finally, feinting serves to stop your attack and make your opponent flinch, giving you opportunities to punish them by attacking or going for a PD, although the feint has a short cooldown after being used.
    So that's how it should be on paper. Following so far? Great. NOW LET'S GET ON HOW FUCKED UP IT IS IN REALITY! The question you probably asked yourself is "what separates MMA Legends from Untitled Boxing Game?" Well, in UBG, you have a certain balance when it comes to attack speeds and dodging. When you're in a match, usually you can find yourself getting PDs off of the opponent just with your natural reaction speed (and good ping lmao). In MMA Legends, however, when fighting someone else, predictions literally become a MUST if you wanna aim for a win and it is PAINFUL to get used to.
    Starting off, while it takes a little moment at first for it to hit someone, the M1's recovery speed is quite short after being thrown, and holy shit it gets even shorter when it hits its mark. This right here is EXACTLY why you sometimes find yourself in an M1 chain only for it to STOP by accident just a MILLISECOND and makes you throw a neutral M1 instead, giving your opponent a chance to either counter you or more likely straight up dodge attempt #2. Next, the M2 is pretty weird to land and it's all due to its LONG ASS time for it to just LAND. If I had to make a comparison using MMAL's Boxer style with UBG's Smash Style, MMAL wins the contest of slowest heavy attack in the West and that's not even a joke. That alone is annoying, though possible to deal with, but THAT'S NOT EVEN THE MAIN PROBLEM! You can M1, M2, dodge, block, ult, feint and maybe use an ability, but all of that went out of the water because of an evil incarnate that made the game prediction based only for it: it's called *INPUT DELAY*.
    That's right folks, the game has input delay. What a shocker, I know. If you're a fan of fighting games, you already know why that's a problem and that it should DIE IN HELL! Before you come up with a reply though, I'm gonna say right off the bat that the ping is not the damn issue. I've checked for myself, found literally THE best server I could, giving me a generous 50-60 ping gameplay and I STILL had that stupid delay every game, so now it being an intentional thing is possibly reinforced by this and obviously it isn't cool. This means that you have to use your brain entirely on thinking what the opponent is gonna do, which isn't a bad thing, Tekken sorta does it, but it's not a fun healthy thing when it's made with input delay in mind, and possibly as an actual "mechanic". Attacking and dodging, thinking you've timed it right, only for it to take 3 business days to even decide to start up; this is frustrating. Not only that, you have to worry about your movement being universally slow, which pacing wise is not good either. Fighting games should have some speed to it and it just doesn't feel like it has any of such when it needs it. Because of that, passive playstyles are again becoming the meta and with how slow the recovery time is, front dashing feels almost useless even if you wanna try and chase someone with a broken W key. The only thing I do like is the blocking, though I'm still in the opinion it's way too easy to recover it after suffering shield damage, and how the ult needs to be landed most of the time.
    Moving over to another topic, let's talk about the animations. The ult animations, I got nothing to say, they're good, but the M1 and M2 attacks are easily some of the most repetitive shit I've seen in my entire life, taking the runner up spot just shy of Family Guy. Now I do understand the game hasn't came out for long, but come on at least add some variety to the punches! Make the M1 alternate from left to right! Same for the M2! Give it some peps to it! Hands down, if that doesn't happen, you'll quickly get bored like I did.
    Yeah, that's about it for now. I think you can understand what it generally means. The game isn't bad, but it's not fun either with how inconsistent it is as of now. Hopefully changes will come around and it'll feel more fleshed out. I'm gonna go sleep now. Thank you for reading the school essay.

      great comment! another thing I wanted to point out about the game that bothered me a lot was how the emote lootbox can give you duplicates, which just makes the already expensive emote crate feel like a waste of time and makes the whole lootbox system less fun...
      with all these things being said though, I do still think this game has potential if it can clean up and polish. the concepts are good, but it has a long way to go.

      @@TQIGaming In my defense, I have yet to use any of the lootboxes the game presented, so it comes a bit of a surprise to me seeing there can be duplicates. They gotta work on that for sure, but generally they need to prioritize on the gameplay as of now.

    To be honest, I don’t like it so far. I’m Judging it harshly because they took inspiration from untitled boxing game and had an easy blueprint to follow. They know what makes a game fun and what makes a game very irritating to play. And yet they fail to properly incorporate accurate hitboxes, remove the clunky feeling of the controls, capitalized on replay ability (The price of getting a different style and emotes are too high considering getting someone to fight you is difficult in this game) and squashing any bugs. I know this is quite a mouthful but in summary: The game has seen the success of another and somehow managed to make it ass. They’re obviously going to fix these issues. But the fact that they have testers and a good point of reference and released this is insane to me.

      The game literally called itself MMA Legends where you fight using any martial arts… but why is there JJK style in there? Doesn't it feel too out-of-place?
      Grappler(Baki's Total Fighting) and Dempsey (Ippo's Peek-A- Boo Boxing) made sense
      but Vessel(Yuji/Sukuna) and Limitless(Gojo) is just another case of "From the creator/studio that made ".
      The thing that made UBG good is how consistent drowningsome is with the game origins, which is Hajime no Ippo.
      While I do believe drowningsome gonna add guest style like Joe Yabuki or Little Mac sooner or later, at least he know that UBG is a Hajime no Ippo game
      What's funny is that there this game called Buriki One where it's an MMA fighting game by SNK and they add Ryo Sakazaki from Art of Fighting to represent Karate and mind you that Ryo in that game… DIDN'T… THROW… FIREBALLS
      Edit: After a quick research on Vessel style, the dev should change the style name

    This game is... Eh, okay. The downside for me is just
    -The dash are delayed
    -it's too hard to perfect dodge
    -Guard are unbreakable
    -Style are not balance
    -The game currently put passive play in meta
    -The hitbox suck
    -the price for anything are expensive

    It feels like it will be really fun if they take game-making seriously, I really wanted an mma game on roblox and most were really bad. UBG is my go-to, but if this gets updated, I am switching soooo hard

    i dont like how each round is heavily ult reliant, the last half of each one is just a pd fishing contest. this game is pretty much ubg but without the (mostly) polished gameplay that it has

      i agree w the unpolished gameplay but you have a pd bar that needs to be filled by actually punching your opponent. you literally can't pd fish in this game idk what you're talking about

    by taking everyone's opinion so far, i can relate that the gameplay feels kinda stiff and dodges are really unconsistent (worse if you have high ping)

    tbh it's fun, but if you want to be skilled, go to UBG it's so much better, and you are able to actually sweat, unlike MMA legends where PD (perfect dodge) is near pure luck

    i dont even know if this game wants to be high quality or not brooo 😞. They defo put a lot of effort into m1 chain and m2 animations, as most styles actually have them different and I also like some of the ult animations. then there are these other super basic bugs that hurt the game itself which I do not see getting fixed

    Tbh, I have played it, Ik the game isn't finalized I've heard it was on beta..?
    But the game itself is kinda clunky, the movement feels sluggish and fatigued, the hit highlights sometimes don't make sense, and when your stamina breaks, you don't actually get your stamina regen back after a punishment so it's annoying cuz I am still foreign in this game's stamina mechanic, all of all, what the game's figthting style offer us is cool, most of them are based in anime, and some of them are just MMA style, I'd rate it 6/10

    the ping issue in this game is absolutely horrendous
    since there are like no players, there most likely wont be any oce servers, and it just so happens i play from oceania
    for a game that's trying to imitate ubg, it's severely unpolished

    I personnally hate the part that dash is delayed even with the style that is meant to be good at dashing combine with a terrible hitbox make dashing out a m2 kinda imposible to me.

    Honestly, I played the game. It doesn’t feel suitable for controller, especially for controller. Main reason why I say this is because it seems like you can’t faint with a controller. Also not a big fan of the game because every time when I tried to dodge it wouldn’t let me dodge interest made me stunned I guess. Honestly, might not touch this game ever again. And from what I’ve been reading from the comments, it seems like this game will probably die like the other untitled boxing rip off, and honestly, it deserves that if the developers don’t take care of it. it also just feels wonky and then the field balanced with most of the styles, and also kind of lazy.

      its a dash forward grab and has a huge hitbox, it has pretty much no startup so thats why it looks like that (very broken)

    This game feel extremely wonky it's frustrating, i really hope they optimize it as soon as possible.
    The animation is slow and not smooth at all.
    The style is not balanced, and as a practioner of multiple martial arts it pains me physically seeing these stances especially kickboxing. (We don't stand like dat 😭🙏)
    The requirement for being able to enter a code is stupid. (I'M NOT DOING ALLAT JUST TO ENTER A CODE, A CODE!!)
    Also being an mma game that features anime chracter rather than real mma fighter's is kinda weird but let's not nitpick (Cuz if i do this comment gonna take 3 hours to read.)
    Overall, right now i rather play ubg.

    NO and No.First,the game sure has variety style and unique mechanic on each style BUT the combat are so janky,better style means win win and not balance like ubg,the perfect dodge is so janky and the m2 is so skibidi like why they dont make it just like ubg.Lastly the ppl in this game are very toxic (my opinion)

      ? Better style is win..is also in UBG. the top styles are all legendaries and they are all unbalanced. the anims are weird in this game though

      No man like example cork can beat chronos if the cork users good and in ubg theres such no style overpowered and you can use basic to beat various style,but in mmal the mythic style is so damn overpowered like the grappler style has high dmging and very easy to land while muaythais ability is so hard to land

Styles dont matter if your that predictable, sure legendaries are hard to get and it has a good amount of advantages but it all comes down on how you play, you wont win if you cant adapt to your opponent. I use common styles like Counter and i win games because i can predict what the opponent will do next.

      ⁠​⁠@@piycogamespredictability doesn't matter, in high rank (~17-18k) legendary styles dominate due to their abilities and the average PD skill of the player
      not to mention style diffs exist in the game as well, you can use counter but eventually you'll run into a legendary with faster m1s and recovery.
      ultimately styles matter

    But seriously, I'm disappointed, I expected way more - it is sort of creative but the whole thing is choppy and the game lacks a central point. UBG has Hajime no Ippo and MMA legends has no real direction tbh.
    The whole knockdown system is so stupid as well, I really hate it.
    Also, NOBODY PLAYS IT, I kept joining servers and I couldn't get a fight most of the time, like bruh.
    Honestly, this game feels rushed and I really don't like it.

    The game is trash.
    The gameplay is so janky and i mean SO GODDAMN JANKY!!!
    the dodges are so bad you can't tell if the opponent throws an m1 or an m2.
    The punches also have no endlag for some reason.
    Don't play it.
