@@ScrummyTV I made this for Saint Patrick's Day. It came out good. I did not use the coffee or decorated it & used home made digestive biscuits for the crust. My family enjoyed it!!! Thanks for sharing.
You have been wonderful to explain certain things.. I appreciate you making time to do so. I love to bake. But I haven't had much time. I do a make a no bake cheesecake that I use various types of flavors too..could I use the Bailey in that recipe
Hi Maria I have never used whipping cream but have read that it can be used but the mixture will be a little softer. If you have heavy cream you can use this either as this is similar to Double Cream. Best of luck with it. Happy Christmas x
Can I use extra thick double cream and as I only plan on using 600g of cream cheese, do or should I reduce the amount of Bailey's. (I want a really strong Bailey's taste) so I don't get a runny consistency. TIA 💙
extra thick double cream should be fine. I would use about 100ml of baileys . When it's whipped up taste it and see what you think , if not strong enough add extra you could alway fold it in . With the exta double cream this cheesecake might thicken up faster than with regular double cream. Also the extra double cream may allow more baileys to be added
Hi Linda you can use quark in a cheesecake so can't see their being any issues using it - I've never used it myself so can't say for sure - you can also use mascarpone if that's any help:)
Hallo there, not winning in my kitchen today. Actually 2nd time round. Choc roll recipe I have had success with for many years, is not working. Yesterday it stuck to kitchen, breaking into pieces😢 Today it stuck slightly with a few cracks ,hoping the ganache will camouflage them. Meringue mushrooms flopped yesterday. Today they looked cracked and weeping. Wanted to gift a Yule Log. Baking woes,forgive the rant😊 Was wondering if I could make the Bailey's cheesecake today, for Christmas? I've had the same problems always said I was doing too many things together Kathy. I'm making cheesecakes later for Christmas day - I make a few for friends so want to give them to them tomorrow so I can free up room in the fridge. Just make sure there is a good date on the cream and cheese x. Should be fine for a few days and I always say pop in the freeze if you think there's too much and you won't get it eatenx Happy Christmas to you and thank you for following me and commenting x
This cheesecake was a winner!! The homemade Bailey's cream which I made way ahead of time was perfect! Ended up using my 26cm springform pan, not the size recommended ( found the ingredients were way too much) which turned out perfect for our big family. Thank you 🤗

Mines didn't come out the way yours did 😢maybe to much heavy cream
