- I was testing this Dancer meme team with Oricorio on Pokémon Showdown and found this really nice opponent! I'm definitely gonna try to use this dancer team in-game so bugs don't ruin my fun LMAO. I hate how common the self-KO tatsu teams are on ladder cause they make dondozo look like a bad mon
I'm like 1100 elo on ladder LMAO, players I match against manage to make gholdengo look balanced
It's literally bc of Wolfe that those teams are everywhere
Yeah it's a shame. Donzo is actually a decent physical wall outside that, but Commander is such a basic strategy that everyone sees coming from a mile away at team preview it doesn't matter
@@oTheSolidEcho foofootoo actually did that strategy first, i believe, although it can probably be attributed to both, especially with the size of wolfe's channel
It's the reason I've carried Clear Smog Amoongus in most of my teams. I run into it every match.

Ok but opportunist Espathra is gonna be THE counter for when the balanced deer (Xerneas) gets added into the game.
And even when people know it counters Xerneas, they’re STILL gonna continue to run it because they’re all brainless players, using a brainless strategy 💀.

Bulbapedia does say that if the target of a dance move isn't there anymore in a double battle, Dancer will just act on whoever the original user was, so I'm not so sure it's actually a bug. I'd have to see it happen in the real games to confirm
I knew about the Espathra mirror herb, but that copy dancer combo is genius
I actually pulled this on a friend of mind the other day. He was confident in living whatever I had after Opportunist proc’d but the realization kicked in when he saw the Mirror Herb.
He proceeded to win the next 3 rematches but I got what I wanted 🙃

Between Dondozo and Palafin, strong water types and big boosts are pretty common in VGC right now. I'm trying to work out a team with Storm Drain, Clear Smog Gastrodon to shut that stuff down.
Gastrodon, once again, saving us from a very cancerous meta.
haze murkrow
apart from murkrow, scarf toxtricity with overdrive is also really nice. also passes substitute if dondozo runs it.
U can always use a team with haze in case the dondozo subsitutes. I use a trick room team with a haze revavroom and it really shuts them down. And if they tera grass which is common it has gunk shot to ohko it

1:23 Oricorio attacks Flamigo because Dancer copies the target of the Dance Move. Since Copycat targets the user (Flamigo), Oricorio's Revelation Dance, when triggered by Dancer, targets Flamigo too
I dont think thats right? If that were the case, quiver dance would boost another mon 2x rather than two mons 1x, no?
@@fuck_handles_ you're wrong : quiver dance is a status move targeting the user at base. Revelation dance isn't. Dancer targets the target its supposed to attack : themselves when quiver dance, enemy when attacking dance move, and the ally when copycat into dance move

Thank you for making an Oricorio team!! Its my favorite pokemon, and I was so excited to finally be able to make a team with it! I may have to add in Flamigo on my team now though, I didnt know it could learn Revelation Dance
It can't learn Revelation Dance. It's using Copycat to mimic the last used move, which was Oricorio's Revelation Dance. Hope this helps.

AAYYYY!! I've been playing a dancer team the last week or two, it's so fun! (I play with the pom pom Oricorio bc it is the cutest lol) I never considered having an Espartha on my team to handle Dondonzo though, also I didnt think of running copycat for triple the Revelation dances! (I am definitely taking notes on this team, my team is mosttttlllyyyyy the same, Oricorio (cheerleader), Volcarona, Lilligant, Quaquaval, then I threw Hydragion and Garchomp on there for fun, might switch one of them out for either Espartha or Flamigo
Idk why, but I like so much the kirby ability absorbtion sound effect on this

Been wanting to try out sensu form since I saw it was in the dex this gen, and hilarious when I remembered what dancer did 😂 that was not planned I'm guessing but great
the way that dancer has been bugged like that for so long now 😭 they dgaf i fear... but you ate as per usual queen
when s/v came out, i came up with a quick emergency build to counter dontatsu gimmick which was mirror herb appletun with tera type fairy (so random it was quick) and flamigo. it worked pretty nicely and plus i like appletun :D
