I actually made it this far without too much help. I wasn't sure about disconnecting the battery since it just wasn't unplugging and I figured forcing it was going to be where I would end up destroying it. The rest of it is just like your video. A lot of wiggling and prying until things pop off. Such a weird design that seems like it is going to open up so easily but it just doesn't. My problem now is....I can't get the stupid thing back together to save my life! Any tips?
I should go to a corded vacuum i guess ! Im between tineco and bissell couldn't decide, but when i searched the battery life and replacement make the corded vac a winner
The fact that the battery is not easily replaceable, makes this a very poorly designed machine. Considering how expensive it is, this is quite a big oversight.
@@edifymytemple I would say just go for the Shark Hydrovac XL corded version. I'd buy it in a second, but it's only available in the US, and I live in Europe...
Hey I have the same problem! Just bought a replacement battery on amazon and does the same thing you said. When I dock it the tineco logo light up but not the battery purcentage nor any other thing plus I cant start the self cleaning since it does not detect the "charging". Any solution you found since your comment?
I'm curious which battery cells they used li ion 18650 cells in 6S assembly? What is the yellow and red cable for? is it temperature or a balancer cable? I'm planning to build a bigger battery.
I got my replacement battery from Amazon. $70. But I didn't realize you have to completely dismantle the device to install the battery. Screw that. This thing is a piece of junk. I should have known.
Just got my Tineco 3 battery out, it's ridiculously complicated. Thank you for the video, though it would be super helpful if you said what you were doing. Regardless, this product is awful. Returning for a Dyson. Will never buy Tineco products again.
thanks ! you really help us, not to damage the material. Sometimes people are not very patient.
Very helpful. where did you buy the replacement battery?
Thank you friend, you helped me take it apart, the child dropped the vacuum cleaner and the battery contacts flew out.
...vielen, vielen Dank!!! Endlich kann ich meinenTineco FLOOR ONE S3 auch wieder aus dem Keller holen...

….was waiting for you to start cursing, then throwing it on the floor and stomping it to pieces! 😂 I’m pretty sure I would have ❤
I am asking for help. Where is the positive pin on the charging base? Best regards

Yes, I was going to purchase the s7, but not anymore. That's too much money to be wasted on a problem with battery issues.

they make it hard to open so we can't fix it ourselves and have to go to a service center

While I really appreciate the solution presented here, this could have been better without 6 minutes of "figuring it out". Just my .02
