MSA Auer Vautex Elite 3SL - Toxic URBEX for four

... four members of the 'ABC-Schutzanzugfreunde' team suiting up their one-piece chemical protection suits together and then advance side by side into a contaminated area for an urban exploration. Fully sealed in their gas-tight MSA AUER Vautex Elite 3SL level-b hazmat suits, the four trudge through difficult-to-access terrain and explore an abandoned building polluted with unknown poisons and chemicals while being supplied with fresh compressed air from their back packed double breathing apparatus. The URBEX mission lasted more than 90 minutes and was very strenuous for everyone.

thanks for your comment, well yes the session in the area lasted 90+ minutes, however, thats already all useable and allowed video content i can provide.

Excellent operation and a model for hazmat operators everywhere. In the video, one operator has a black apparatus on his back that I have not seen before. What is it? I am wondering if it may be a new advanced form of powered air purifying respirator [PAPR]?

Many thanks for your comment and appreciation! The operator is wearing one of the older Dräger PSS-500 units, its not a rebreather but maybe there might be a video with a SCBA-rebreather soon 🙂

Ich möcht' mit :-) 3SL hab ich auch da, und PA auch. Schön das auch ein PSS500 vertreten ist, da hab ich auch zwei^^ Ich hatte mich schon mal per Mail an die Schutzanzugfreunde gewendet, aber leider nie Antwort erhalten 😞

yes, this is why there was a SCBA equipment change nessesary half way though the video. You can never have enough air!
