74 year old grandma who never watches war movies, never saw Taken or a Fast + Furious movie, but I'm fascinated by the John Wick series. I wonder if someone who understands this kind of cinema could explain it. What is so different about John Wick?
John Wick is a raised assassin and some kid that was in the mafia killed his dog And so he killed him, the mafia and got in trouble with higher criminal organizations which lead to him Killing leaders of that organization which led him to Clear his name of Revenge
He’s a man with pure skill not powers he ain’t no superhero he makes us believe no matter how outnumbered you’re there is always hope by using your brain and patience a man set with pure dedication mean come on you lose the only thing that made you a normal person then what they left you was taken from you I mean that would set of people easily
I usually never get emotional, but this character stirred my emotions and took control over me. It revealed the reality of human nature and their inherent selfishness. It showed that there is no peace without war.
Its an action movie, thats mostly action with many different situations and opponents that shows how one guy can setup multiple opponents continuously and believably.
