Any person thats even heard dylan in passing should’ve known that wasn’t him. Dylan’s lyrics are mostly nonsensical and hardly ever rhyme if you they’re not sung in his particular weird voice.
@@lostagain7292#TRUTH When I was a music major, living on the music floor of Neptune North at the university I attended, it was Bob Dylan when getting high and the "Titanic" soundtrack if you didn't. Man, from a technical standpoint, this is a really impressive set. Jokes with layers, and that final punch line about Kanye saying crazy stuff before he puts out something he wants people to buy is the icing on the cake.
I think the joke was that Kanye works super hard to get back the people's respect after he fucks up. Because that's what MBDTF was, he started it after the VMA incident, and tossed out his 4th college themed album to do it. There are recordings of him saying this was the project that would bring him back to popularity in the studio during those Hawaii sessions. Aziz Ansari even has a credit in the production when he just visited the studio and gave input on like one song.
@gatfatf taylor swifts first two albums that were released at the time of the vma incident have outsold Kanyes entire catalogue TO DATE. Times 2. Just saying.
I’m not familiar with this young man but his material is already top shelf. He has an extremely comfortable and likable delivery. This is someone to watch for sure!
I agree I thought he’s crushing it… easy transitions “he wants to run for President - that’s a lot… that’s a lot, Ima vote for him, but that’s a lot” then the “Biden never made me dance” follow up… I thought - if he’s this consistent he’s gonna be one of them ones
The most conversational-style of comedy I’ve ever witnessed, but outside of asking for someone to say Taylor Swift, it was all him on the mic. He made it look so effortless. I need more of Eagle Witt. I think we might have a new contender for top comedian.

It’s because they can unload freely without being accused of hating the other race. Less guardrails when you come from the community you’re critiquing.
Btw I’d even argue that’s why Bill Burr was respected through the 90s when he was going through a lot of black comedy circuits. He lived in the community with other black people, but he wasn’t “trying to be black”. He had a black girlfriend who is now his wife, and understood the culture he was a part of, so he had some cred with the black community.
Goddamn this was good. Very few comedians can make me laugh that hard or that often in less than a ten minute set. I want to see more of him. For real.

without bob dylan, we wouldn't have sam cooke's "change gonna come". I hated bob dylan as a kid but when I grew older and started to relate to the lyrics, dude's pretty affirming. Not the GOAT but hes pretty cool.
Hendrix's cover of "All Along the Watchtower" is one of the greatest songs of all time. Dylan's original ballad "The Hurricane" is one of the most influential criminal justice protest songs of all time. He had some other decent chill music. Yet he was a better songwriter than performer. I almost always prefer someone covering his music compared to his original performances. He was a bard. A real fake. Fake and real. A traveller and a fool. The joker and the thief.
I always felt like someone else needed to sing all the lyrics Bob Dylan sang, but all the music needed to be identical to Bob Dylan's and it would improve the sound tremendously. I mostly love his lyrics but can hardly understand anything he sings. It sounds more nasally than I would find acceptable, and I can't help imagining that any well-spoken man who can sing would be more enjoyable. It's the hardest thing about being a Bob Dylan fan, just as this first comment said.
