Cyclist hit deliberately by Car!

A cyclist was deliberately knocked off his bike in an incident New Plymouth police have branded as road rage.
The 51-year-old man suffered a broken collarbone when he was rammed by a dark car on Robe St, near the intersection with Powderham St, about 6.40am.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash.
Constable Graeme Jones said the man was about to turn right onto Powderham St when he heard the car was behind him.
"The car revved and honked its horn and he [the cyclist] took that as the driver having a bit of a beef with him," Mr Jones said.
The car then went up on the left hand side of the cyclist and hit him. "He's deliberately swerved straight into him, knocking him off his bike, and driven off along Powderham St."Police did not know why the driver hit the cyclist, who was wearing a reflective jacket, helmet and had lights, but were treating the matter seriously.
"It is an act of dangerous driving. There might be a bit of road rage going on, but we don't know," Mr Jones said.
Police would check CBD camera footage but also wanted
Mr Jones said the car was regularly seen in the same area around the same time.
