This is my favorite podcast, next to Love of the Star, you guys are straight and to the point thats the best part.
I like Trey Benson but his injury history scares me he tore his ACL, MCL, LCL, thigh hamstring, knee meniscus and he only hit the 20-carry mark in one game in his career will be age:22 in July. Jaylen Wright age: 21 and Jonathon Brooks will be 21 in July I would draft both over Benson

Benson in the 3rd would be nice. I like Bucky Irvin and Wright a lot as well though. I really don't want to take a RB in the second, so I'm hoping Brooks is taken before our second round pick so there's no chance they'll take him then.

Take your RB in the second round if you have faith in his abilities. If you wait until the 3rd round and if all wanted prospects are snatched…then you’ll find yourself reaching for low quality.

Day 3 Workhorse RB Kimani Vidal 5'8 213 4.46 40 yard 37.5" Vj age:22 had highest Pff rushing grade (93.2) in the FBS and the best pass block grade (79.3) of any RB in 2024 draft and led all RB's in this years draft in Rushing Yards (1,661) and Yards from Scrimmage (1,862)

Kimani is Troys all time leading rusher he is short but he is a sawed off RB with muscular frame

I doubt any of the top 3 make it to round 3. I think all go between 50 and 80

That said I would take Wright
Last year I wanted them to take Gibbs didn't care if it was round 1. Everyone saw how Gibbs was a factor as a 1&2 punch. It was cool with taking Duece Vaughn late but defensive players didn't lose him with his height advantage. This year we need to take a Wright, Benson, Allen, Irving. If Rico, Malik and Vaughn want to make this team they better ball out in camp if Zeke comes back.
Hopefully dallas learned thier lesson giving zeke that huge 2nd contract. I think most RBs are only worth that rookie deal anyways.. not many guys turn into Derrick Henry and have that kind of longevity.
I'm hoping we go rb in the second just so we can maybe buck the curse of the 2nd round for one year last time we hit there was Diggs right?
Sam Williams (ok depth), Diggs (star), Connor Williams (solid), Chidobe Awuzie (solid), Randy Gregory (solid but injuries), Tank Lawarance (star). This was in the last ten drafts. That's a 60% hit rate in the second round. And that's assuming Schoonmaker doesn't get better over the next few years. The drafting has never been the problem, its what they do the rest of the year lol
Braelon Allen is young and built like Derrick Henry.

Derrick Henry was 6'3 247 at the combine Braelon Allen 6'1 235 they worked out together recently and Henry made him look small. I like Allen he is only age:20 but he had 9 fumbles in his college career and didnt do any agility drills or 40 yard dash at his pro day due to a high ankle sprain
The last thing we want to do is recreate Zeke- pollard 2022. Zeke is 2 years more run down and we will then have to find another power back for 2025 anyway. Given the way we don't spend, we can't carry 2 backs that are significant

I love Brooks as a Texas fan of course lol but really wouldn’t mind us drafting Allen out of Wisconsin or Ray Davis from Kentucky

What do paid scouts and evaluators say about these prospects? Stick to what the pros are saying. Your analysis is just bar talk and fodder. Save us. Give us reports from people who evaluate for a living.
I have been following this podcast for a while and they have very very good takes .. and specially marcus draft petcats do very well in the pros.
