  • Rear bumper removal: 30 to 60 minutes ($15 / $90 / $150)
In this video I show how I was able to get the rear bumper removed when my bracket bolts broke off. I also show what I do to prevent if from happening again. This should work for Volvo 850, S70, V70, C70 and other Volvo cars.

Another informative video Robert, I'm about to tackle the job tomorrow and at the very least I now know how the rear bumper attaches to the brackets, brackets to the metal bar and where the bolts are located, Thank you, 850 owner London, UK

Robert, this is a great idea, and probably the way it should have been designed from Volvo in the first place. I had the same issue, on my yellow T5-R no less, and I ended up rocking, prying, and bending the entire bumper. Rinse and repeat until the bolts gave way from the nut on the brackets. Luckily I grabbed new brackets from the junkyard so had all the parts to finish job. Wish I saw this video first though!

Thank you sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar. I deal with the same problems in my 850, so your videos are very useful to me. Regards

can you just drill a hole or does it need to be a slot?
