"Clients want to hear your thoughts, your ideas, your suggestions and even your direction." So true! After spending the last year trying to clarify my niche as a Bible based trauma recovery and transformation coach, I realized that my intuitive assessment is at least as valuable to my clients as my coaching skills, and that in the realm that I work, it's really needed. In my coaching training the distinctions between coaching, consulting and mentoring were drilled into us-do not cross the line. But sometimes the most effective approach, and responsive to our client's need, is to do both. So great to have found the term "coach-sulting!"
